This restaurant has become known for their gourmet burgers and locally sourced ingredients. Locals is located in Fairhope, Alabama at 312 Fairhope Avenue which is about 2 hours and 23 minutes and 160 miles away from the New Orleans French Quarter. Oh boy! So much to say about this video. First...I'm always amazed that you never spill anything on your shirt. You are a master eater! Congrats! (Sincerely!!!) Also, that burger was slippin' and slidin'...no wonder it eventually fell out! Looked good though! Finally...I cannot stand when the server doesn't return to check on you and doesn't refill your drink. Number one pet peeve! BUMMER!!! (I drink a lot at a meal, and expect to have my water and drink refilled as much as is necessary! That would drive me bananas! The area looks cute, but sounds like they need to work on their customer service, at the minimum. Appreciate you showing us this pretty area.
Oh the area is way more pretty than the little bit I filmed here! It is definitely a spot to visit if you are in the area. It is full of interesting little boutique stores and all manner of shopping options that are quite a draw to tourists. The town hired a full time professional flower artist that plants and maintains all sorts of beautiful flowers all around the area. It is really hard to find good service industry folks these days as it is so competitive the good ones are hard to keep. I may or may not admit to being less than perfect and having spilled quite a few things on myself before 😀

@@NOLAGent1 I just finally got a chance to look at this hotel. (I work in healthcare, and we had a huge staff appreciation week last week, so things were bananas!) Turns out I had already marked this hotel a while back. I was looking at this area too, and noticed the beautiful hotel. Would be nice to stay there sometime!

A LOT of people are moving there and it has gotten VERY crowded compared to what it used to be. It is still a nice place and they definitely take great care of it to keep it looking nice.
