Love your detailed explanations and tips!! … can mix the colors, using a dry paper towel… these are all questions that I would think about!! Appreciate this!!!
This is quite helpful. I've been looking for a video tutorial on how to repair a damaged piece of laminate without actually replacing the piece which so many videos show. Thank you!
Any suggestions for larger fixes (water seeped between the crack and raised the laminate) and for area that see a lot of traffic and the filler that dried hard cracked and came out.
The issue I have had is find a color that can match our LVP. A bigger chuck is in the middle of a board. Also I can match it with a stain either. It got scratched too. Ours were from Floor and Decor and it was a Hickory color LVP. Can you give advice. $6k for new floors and they are ruin in less than 8 months
do you have any tips for when the corner of one plank starts to protrude upward? i have a plank where the corner of the plank isn't flush to the ground and slightly protrudes upwards. I accidentally walked over the corner of the plank with my socks on and ended up grabbing a piece of that corner which ripped off and now looks awful. any solutions for this?
Just a head's up: If you ever have chairs with casters where someone will sit on that flooring regularly, either change the casters to roller-blade type wheels and/or make sure you put a chair mat on the floor where the chair will be used. Chairs with casters will chew through that floor finish before you know it otherwise. Don't ask me how I know 😭
I have a couple of small cuts in my brand new LVP, and the cuts cause a little raised area. Before adding putty, how to I get rid of the raised portion?
I have an idea for a video that would be helpful for your viewers that I just figured out how to do. Millivolt (Thermopylae) smart thermostat integration. Reach out if you want more info
Great video but i feel if you can notice it, everyone can notice it. I think a better solution would be to cut out and replace part of that particular plank; or else, from your shavings kept from when you laid this floor, make a mix of shavings with Krazy Glue and repair the chip with them; the colur will be more exact and it will be harder to notice the repair. Also, on our floors which are light grey, any putty which is a plain colour will show very easily.
Nobody would ever notice tiny nicks in the flooring. It's kind of like when you're searching for a tiny object on the floor and you can't see it, but once you see it, you can't unsee it. Nobody comes in your house and just stares at your floor.
Thank you for showing how to repair instead of replace. It was hard to find instructions. This looks great.
Did this fix this past weekend, felt like a DIY genius afterwards. Thank you!
Not only did you show us how it's done, but you did it very well!

Very good video. Simple instructions. Thank you, we have new laminate floors and now I know how to patch them if (or when) they are damaged.
This is what I was looking for to repair chipped laminate floor!
Being a divorced homeowner, this is so helpful! thank you so much!! You're the best!

Thanks for posting. I have a light gray laminate wood and I feel like if I putty it, it will show easily? Guess it’s worth trying.

I saw the spot...after the circle pointed it out 😂. Instructional and uncluttered, a good thing for this type vid. Well done.
Thanks so much for watching. Much appreciated.
This was amazing! I just fixed 2 huge gouges out of our vinyl flooring.
Nice, so far havent had to do this. But now after typing this, it will happen
Thanks we just had LVP installed & dropped something sharp but with this video I’ll be able to hide it

Simple, well-explained video. Thank you!
Is this waterproof? I have a chip in my LVP floor in my bathroom.
would this product work well for minor scratches or scuffs if applied properly?
Excellent video Brother. Short, sweet and to the point.
Thank you! Much appreciated :)
Would that work on melamine cabinets? 🤔
high quality video and repair. thanks for posting
How long does it take to dry?
Is there a way to make it glossy? Thank you...
Can I use that method to fill in 8 inches on a wooden fence? It's hallow, owner won't fix and it looks ugly
Nice video and some sweet music! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Seal with waterproofing?
Can you do a video on hardwood floors? And if you already have can you point me in the direction of it?
I have a square shaped chip. This may work, it might show too easily on the shape.
Would this stuff work for cracks in kitchen floor tiles? I'm a renter, and we have quite a few.
I think it really could, yes. If nothing else it’s a cheap way to improve the tiles.

This might work for small dings but a large long scratch from dragging something has to be replaced unfortunately.
Problem is, it's not waterproof. What do you need to do to make it waterproof? I mop the floor every 2 weeks.
my dog put a hole in my laminate flooring from scratching and biting will try thanks
Thanks for sharing awesome

I thought luxury vinyl was indestructible? I have friends with it and they are not able to dent it
It’s supposed to be but if you do a quick search online you’ll see lots of dents and dings.
Not all lvp is created equally and the warranty is how you know.

You make a video showing us this technique.
