Fantastic job. I had a 633 in the early eighties. Beautiful car. More understated than the 635 but very comfortable and a pleasure to drive. A classic.
Beautiful! It takes a slecial person to tackle a project like this. Thank you for saving this car. It's too soecial of a car to no longer be driven and enjoyed!
@@lucidwerkz I know exactly what you mean. I'm currently restoring a very much neglected Mitsubishi Evo. Once it's done, I'm hoping to add an E24 next.
this is exceptional and I did not know there was a spray to refinished old carpets. HA HA. you just solved a huge problem I had with another car im working on....and by working on I am not anyone that knows how to do much but Im going to attempt. Also, I am looking at a 1984 CSI today. Its gonna need this and more and your lovely video is a fantastic inspiration.
got a 635csi, did more or less the same Restoration as you did except the front seats. always love to see a uni black single stage black paint getting detailed, so satisifing😍 sadly the thing with the speakers in the door panels, but its the 80s😅
I am struggling with my 1977 633CSI as when i opened the trunk it would not close again as it opened to far and when i closed it again using a little bit too much force i now can no longer get it open again and am wondering how i can get it open
the only thing you would have done differently is to save the driver's seat, there are excellent professionals who would have brought it back to life, more expensive but it would have added value to the project... the engine would also certainly need updating but above all it is useful lower the set-up with sports suspension because this car has some problems changing direction
Should have exchanged those horrible US bumpers for the Euro ones
I must be the only guy that like those euro bumpers haha. I dont why they just add character
As a German that lives in Bavaria I kinda like both
Fantastic. What patience dealing with that paint correction came out amazing!
The paint was really the biggest difference that made the car look so good!
i dont have this bmw anymore, i will do an install video on an e30 in future video

good tips...thanks, I've got a 633CSI that is waiting for its date with the salon.

@@andydhillon1977 Very nice!! I just finished restoring a neglected STI in my other videos as well!
That paint came out great

Glad you enjoyed it my man!
First time I've ever seen that as well.
how this only has 21k views is beyond me; outstanding work mate
I had an '85 635CSi Euro. I miss that car every single day.
I feel it, I will probably get another one in the future that i can restore completely! Never too late to get another one!
@@lucidwerkz Yeah, I'm always on the look out. But...I did replace it with an E9 so I'm not totally unhappy. ;)
Beautiful car and nice work!
Love this videos cinematography, keep it up‼️‼️ also that paint work is fantastic looking 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Leggendaria e stupenda vettura d'epoca, meritevole d'essere restaurata.
Where did you buy the new seat covers??
Lseat.com 👍
absolutely beautiful man
Nice job !
Nice work the car looks
Good except the horrendous
U.s spec bumpers
Yeah I agree
Great job indeed, bravo

Definitely one of my favorite detail restorations I’ve done so far!
I am struggling with my 1977 633CSI as when i opened the trunk it would not close again as it opened to far and when i closed it again using a little bit too much force i now can no longer get it open again and am wondering how i can get it open
Oh hey that's my old car
How did you fix your cracked dash?
I was going to install one of the dash caps, But I sold the car before I was able to make a video about it.
what does csi stand for?coupe sport injected?
More of a makeover than a restoration, but still very nice.
Yep Detail Restoration!
Excellent work, but a question, is the car stalling?
Not at all

Is it an Alpina? I have the same seat covers.
not an Aplina.
👍👍👍
Its a pity you could not tell us what cleaning and polishing products you used on the car
It’s something I’m going to start incorporating into my new video. Go over all the products used.

good work great result. But these horrible US bumpers didnt fit this wonderful car.
Euro bumpers are pretty rare to find in US. Usually cost 1k+ USD. Maybe I’ll get an e24 in the future and modify it lol
Oh man! 1:20 - How to call those bigots who ruin door panels to install their shitty speakers LIKE THIS?!
Always hated those moradeurs!
I know! I was upset about that, since it was very difficult to find new door panels.
Christ, it was annoying me leaving those door cards with holes in
It was very annoying to me as well. I couldn’t source red door panels at the time. But I put the speaker cover back after just to cover it.
@@lucidwerkz nice job on the 633 👏👏
