What I typically do is publish the book without the QR code and then once the book is live, I immediately upload a new manuscript with the QR code embedded - hope this helps!

Re: The Titans Chrome Extension - I just got the free version to try it out and honestly, they're not showing me anything helpful (unless I'm doing it wrong which is totally possible). For instance, I typed "Hawaiian Notebook" in the search bar and the list that came up included the same 10 books or so, listed several times over and over again. Some of those are my books and it shows they have no sales, but they do have sales. It's not really making me think that my money would be well spent here. Do you have a video showing how to make to most of the free version? Maybe I'm just misunderstanding something.

Thanks for your question and I should have been more clear in my video. You would upload to kdp without the qr initially. Once your book is live and you have the url for the product review page you can then modify and resubmit your interior to include the qr :)

Thank you for your question! Keywords can still be updated/ edited even after your book goes live. The only things you cannot edit are the Book Title, Subtitle, Author name, etc. Hope this helps :)

How are people creating coloring books via KDP? I know they're using a different software to design them...but the books and paper quality from KDP is not good coloring book quality IMO. The paperstock for KDP is not meant for that kind of book? I could maybe see crayons being used, but the paper weight is so low for markers or other media.
I'm sorry to hear, you should contact KDP support for this. There shouldn't be any monthly charges for KDP to begin with though. Hope you manage to get the issue resolved!
I would make sure it’s not someone within your household. And for friends you would want to make sure you are clear that they are leaving you an honest review. There’s nothing wrong with someone you know buying your book and leaving you an honest review :)
I’m so sorry to hear - definitely don’t give up. The next time you publish try your best to implement some of these steps including niche research (and niche down as much as you can), competitor analysis and find ways to differentiate your book from others in the market. All the best!!

Implement all the methods and tips in this video and don’t give up - key is to do proper niche research, competitor analysis and make sure you have a high quality book and listing. The video will share tips on each of these topics :)
Sometimes you better use ads at least during the 2-4 first weeks following your publication to make the algorithm understand that your book is good and then push it on the top. Getting fully organic sales is a joke, even more in the beginning, for your first books, with no brand, no audience or no way to promote them.
I'm sorry to hear - but if KDP is something you enjoy doing, definitely keep going at it and don't give up. The more you publish the better you are able to identify winning niches and create high quality books that will differentiate from the competition. Also, see if you can implement some of the tips from this video as well. All the best!

The market is quite different for these 2 marketplaces, so you will actually have to optimize your ads differently by location. I generally focus my marketing efforts on the US market as it is a larger market when compared to Canada.

I made 2 coloring books and after half year still on 0 selling...Kinda disappointed by Amazon system.
