Good list! You mentioned Faxanadu the other day and I have that on my list and I need to put Gremlins 2 on the list as welll. I'm also a big fan of Rygar so happy to see it get some love. I am not a fan of Kid Icarus however. God, I find that game frustrating. Maybe one day I'll give it a longer play and really commit to it but I've been saying that every since I got the Nintendo Classic. 😁
Time Lord, Trojan and Code Name Viper were all games I enjoyed as a kid and still find fun today that I think get missed. They're not amazing games but still fun. Crystalis and The Guardian Legend are two other ones on my list that I've heard a lot of good things but haven't played for myself.
I loved Time Lord and Code Name Viper! I don’t know much about Trojan, I’ll have to give it a try. I’ve heard great things about Crystalis. The Guardian Legend is awesome! It was WAY ahead of its time. It just barely missed my list👍
Faxanadu is world class even if all the shopkeepers need eye drops. Gremlins 2 is world class as well
Codename Viper is a true sleeper

Great list! I've played all of these except Bucky O Hare. Some of my favorite games would be: Solstice, Bionic Commando, Shadowgate, Solar Jetman, Dr Chaos

The Nes it self is most definitely underrated for sure. The gremlins game looks very fun. I never played it. I remember watching the little nemo movie many times. Never played the game. Great picks man

Hell yeah man!! Those are all bangers! One of my personal favorite action platformers is Kabuki Quantum Fighter. It reminds me a bit of Sunsoft's Batman, and your character attacks with these badass head banging hair whip attacks, along with all kinds of other weapons. There's also a cool platform mechanic where you can grab, and flip up and around certain platforms that have these hand grips on them, allowing you to get around the levels with some cool, funky moves. It is "Nintendo hard" though, but I don't think that it's that much more difficult than games like Batman.

Hell yeah! Shit, I totally forgot about that game! I remember renting that game almost every weekend lol. I don’t believe I own the original physical copy though. It’s definitely on one of my NES multi-game carts though. Awesome game!
@@GameFreak1976 It's a ton of fun once you get the levels and enemy patterns figured out. It was one of those situations where it was one of the few handful of games that I owned as a kid, so I had nothing but time on my hands to learn how to play it. Unfortunately, I traded it in later for some Game Gear games. I loved my Sega Game Gear, because my parents didn't like me hogging the TV to play my NES, and it allowed me to take it to my bedroom and play some kick ass games, like GG Shinobi 1&2 in full color. The screen on that game gear blew me away at first, until a few years later when it faded so badly that I could barely see the screen anymore. 😂 Game on brother!!!🤘

@@GameFreak1976 Sorry, my replies are kinda acting weird tonight, maybe it's my shitty phone. It's nice having emulation to be able to go back and enjoy those kick ass GG titles again on a good screen.
I'm just getting into Kid Icarus. I wasn't really a fan of it as a kid but now I'm really enjoying it. Great picks Game Freak!

It’s a solid list. If it was my list I would add Codename Viper, Capcom’s (really good) ripoff of Rolling Thunder, Gyruss by Konami, and Solar Jetman by Rare (not obscure back then but it is today)

I have fond memories of Solar Jetman from back in the day and tried playing it sometime recently (last few years) and darn, I don't know how I made it anywhere in that game! I kept running out of fuel and the gravity on the second or third planet made it almost impossible to move. But I still had fun playing.
I think Sub-Terrania for the Genesis is kind of similar but also a little more friendly and more my style 😁
You forgot Conquest of the Crystal Palace and Kickle Cubicle .
Crystal palace definitely didn’t get much recognition at all. I may be wrong, but I think Quest developed that game and they were rather small at the time. Regardless, that was a way underrated game for sure! I don’t think I ever played kickle cubical but have heard of it. I’m sure it’s on one of my NES multi carts so I’m gonna have to check it out👍

Kid Icarus is overrated!!
To each their own. It’s definitely not for everyone. I’m also one of the few that believes Metroid is a better game than Zelda. When it comes to top 10’s, we most likely aren’t all going to agree👍

To each their own. I was actually surprised I liked it. Games like Willow usually aren’t my style.
