It didn't show up in it's original form in the west until Nintendo's virtual console and was renamed the Lost Levels. I had a nose at it on 3DS and the game info had it listed as some holy grail lol, it was more or less much of the same thing as the original but now the difficulty was more challenging.
The 8 Bit Sonic game is from Tectoy Company in Brazil. They make 8 bit Sega Games licensed by Sega, because in Brazil they have a huge tax on 64 Bit physical copies of video games. They could play 32 bit games, but for whatever reason the Sega Master System is the video game of choice. Tectoy is coming out with a hand held & can download 64 bit games to get around that Tax issue, so this will be a huge win for Brazil. i don't like Digital Games, but in this case it's my 1st time praising downloaded games, as it's a huge win for that dumb tax.
That Metroid hack reminds me of the ROM hack made by Metroid Database. It was called MDBtroid and had the map and some close to super Nintendo looking sprites but demade for NES.
Cool cart! First time I have seen NES Commando, it actually looked like a good version. Maybe it's not an easy game to emulate correct as it never showed up on Virtual console and I don't believe it's on Switch, yet Ghosts' n Goblins always shows up including NES mini lol. I might have to have a cheeky look and see how it fairs on Super Retrocade. Cheers Game Freak!
It plays great on the Super Retrocade! It’s hard, but still a great game. It took me 38 years to complete 😂. I pumped so many quarters into that game at the arcade when I was young. I was pissed when I finally beat it because the ending was so bad!!!!😂 I still love it though. Cheers brother!!!!

Holy Diver, holy hell what a nightmare of a game!!! Well, maybe not a nightmare but brutally difficult. I agree, it's definitely one of the hardest games I've ever played. Looks pretty good. Definitely a mess with the menu (especially since it's two lists of 400+ games mashed together, why didn't they just do one?) but overall looks like the games played pretty well. I tried getting one of these style carts for the Genesis but was just running into too many problems. Too many PAL versions of games and too many glitches so I returned it and went the emulator route. There is a Mario 2 the Lost Levels (I think it comes on the Mario All Stars pack for the SNES) but it wasn't released in the US and was a Japanese (Famicom) exclusive as it was considered too tough for American players so they took that other game and transformed it into Mario 2 for the US.
That's the real SMB 2 from Japan. It was in Super Mario All-Stars as The Lost Levels.
