Being a Retro Collector i never buy pre order or release date. Especially now with UA-cam i watch other people play the game & then decide if i want it or not. So i delay myself access to games as well, so i don't get ripped off. Delays don't bother me none.

Cool shooter I've not seen before. Not on Taito Legends 1 or 2 for classic xbox which tends to be my main source for Taito arcade games. Interesting! Thanks for digging it out and sharing! 👍

It's not exactly the same but listening to you describe where you live is a bit similar to my sister in northern PA. After you get off the highway you're on a one lane 45 mph drive/30 mph through the small section of town road for 10 minutes then turn onto a twisty mountain/woods road that's 40 mph with a lot of suggested 30 mph cautions through turns for 15 minutes before turning right at the tire sign. Yes, there are no signposts marking off roads so you know how to make the correct right turn because of the tire sign. That unlined road becomes a dirt road 1/2 mile in and you take that for 20 minutes or so before turning onto another dirt road that you take for a bit over a mile and then turn into her driveway and her house at the bottom of the mountain in the middle of nowhere.

As a UA-camr with three channels and thousands of subscribers I can tell you I love your content. You are on the road to 1K and at least getting some McDonalds money from UA-cam. UA-cams pay is peanuts. I subscribed with all 3 channels. Livestreaming is tough because it depends so much on your internet. I live in the country. Camera does not matter all that much. I started with a webcam, them moved to a Sony ZV-1, and now went to an El Gato Face Cam. Having better gear does not equal more views. You will be happier with production quality though. I have found gameplay livestreams videos do not do as well as shows with guests for all my channels. Also livestreams are one and done. They do well for a few days and then get very few views over time. My produced retrogaming videos out perform all my livestreams all around and get views long term. Thanks for the great content. Keep on trucking! You got this! I watch your videos when they are in my UA-cam stream.

Fun you said HARD AS NAILS. Toplan knew what was good out there & they made it extra hard on purpose, so you would be forced to put in more quarters! Arcade Gamers quietly hated them, but couldn't say it out loud as they were in every Arcade Room back in the day! Because the people running the Arcades loved these machines as it made money for them! So there would be multiple Toplan Arcades back in the day! This is a must have EverCade for me as i grew up at an Arcade. But now i don't need quarters!

They could publish a Sunsoft arcade collection, if they count Neo Geo emulation as "arcade".

oh yes, the infamous auto scroll Mario levels. They definitely got the heart pumping a little extra fast and if you were playing the game with friends you were always hoping it would be their turn to beat those levels. I enjoy all the Toaplan arcade games but I think I prefer their ports in almost every case. Fire Shark, Truxton, Zero Wing, Hellfire, pretty much every one from Toaplan 1 and 2 I prefer their Genesis version and going past that I'm probably neutral on Grind Stormer and have only played the arcade version of Batsugun (and can't imagine the Saturn version was any better). The Genesis ports of the earlier games seemed to be more user friendly in my opinion.

The cart is an "S" for me. Twin Hawk my fav and here's a couple if tips. Call your buddies up straight away as soon as you start and keep moving slightly left/right by a few pixels on the stick in the position you wish to fly at to get a wider spred with the bullets. Don't forget the bonus VS game Sega Genesis/Megadrive Twin Hawk, more forgiving and makes good practice. Seeing how far you can get on one credit is always fun. 😉 Wardner was also released on Sega Genesis, was never released in Europe but is region free as I have it here in the UK. Not cheap any more so an Everdrive might be a better option... Good review though Game Freak, I think some of the games are so strong that it's easy to ignore the weaker games so I fully understand your "A" grade. 👍

Extremely edgy opinion: reviewers like yourself overlook the extent to which most of these games (most, not all) really are designed for two player co-op -and they don't work well solo. Hellfire is not a one player game.

I would prefer seeing the current gen stuff branded as "Tatsujin" (the current name of the company) rather than "Toaplan". It makes a better logo, T-shirt, poster, etc.

after getting back into retro gaming the past few years (mainly with Evercade) i've not played a single game on my PS4. modern games just don't do it for me at this age. your channel seems cool and you've got a new subscriber. keep up the awesome Evercade coverage!

Hard to get upset about another computer collection being delayed.

Thats why i never preorder game's and stuff because i had enough of that about twenty odd years ago. I can remember in the UK N64 games or as you would call them Ultra 64 games were always delayed and i had to wait about an extra five months for Killer Instinct gold and another obscure fighting game i was so disappointed when the would be release date would come around just to be informed that its gone back to TBA. I was gutted every time, i think back in the day it happened a lot with Nintendo. They love to secure peoples preorder and gain interest of the small amount of money people pay. I bet they look at the analytics and try and guess how many people will buy the item to stop them mass producing so they dont waist money. Thats what its all about money not customers just putting they company first and as for Playstation 1 Tombraider games they were as hard as hell and not very enjoyable at all, in fact Deathtrap Dungeon would have been a better choice or Twisted metal.

Blaze have a tendency to over promise and when it all falls through (as it often does) it really doesn't look very professional and knocks customer confidence in the company as a whole. Report card reads "Must do better!" Keep up the awesome work GF :-)

I pre-ordered the VS-R, I'm disappointed, but not but-hurt. It's a month, as long as they get it right when it's shipped.

I didn't pre-order (yet) but am planning on picking up an EXP-R. Not upset about the delay. Working for a company that sources products it happens. Just hope all this pre-order money keeps Blaze going and leads to more / better licenses.

I love the style of Gauntlet and that is exactly what Steel Force is. i may already have this for that reason. i'll have to look at my EverCade Collection. I'm glade I found you as no one else is really doing EverCade Reviews. Plus it has Silk Road, so two games for for the price they are asking for is a deal for me which i really like about EverCade Games!
