I think it’s Hilarious and weird that Alexander Skarsgard and Nicole Kidman played Husband and wife in Little Big Liar and the played Mother and Son in The Northman

I think it's hilarious and weird that Odin himself appears to him in one scene, but you know, the magic of cinema.

You must love Age of Ultron then. Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver are brother and sister. And in Godzilla they were Husband and Wife.

@@kristofferson5913not the same. That happens way more often. Fault in Our Stars cast play lovers but on Divergent play brother and sister as well

Just once I’d like an actor to say “yeah, I think I got a role from my first audition because my dad is a super famous actor.”

well, I think this is not the case even though his father is that famous. He's pretty talent.

@@scarlet2690 for sure but that wasn’t a role that required much talent

but you never start out playing something extremely demanding. I think even play a stupid model when you are not like that requires talent, and comedy is not easy.

The only his dad did, was to invite him to come, while he was filming. I'm pretty sure that it was a friend of his, that asked him to take the role

There’s an interview with Stellan Skarsgård where he’s asked about his sons that are actors (Alexander, Gustaf, Bill and Valter) and whether he has given them any advice about acting and navigating a career in Hollyood. He replied, “No, I don’t give them any advice. I don’t interfer. I haven’t encouraged them, I haven’t discouraged them. From the age of sixteen, their lives are their own. And if I coach them as actors or if I help them by giving them agents or opening doors to them into the business, if they fail, it would be my fault - I don’t want that. And even worse, if they succeed, it wouldn’t be because of themselves; it would be because of daddy and that would be horrible for them.”
