Welcome to the new, weekly HRTV show. Tonight we will be talking about Ham radio microphone connectors, and just like belly buttons there are different shapes, sizes and colors. But, they contain almost the same stuff.
Websites we showed:

Every week will bring in depth discussions and presentations in 60 minutes or less. The W6VVR repeater will be used before and after the show to capture questions and comments.
The last week of the month we will have a show dedicated to answering questions collected from UA-cam comments and emails and can open up Zoom for people that would like to do a deep dive into their questions.
To connect to W6VVR: Primary EchoLink is W6VVR-R and Secondary is WG5EEK-L. You can also use our AllStar Node 51094

Great Presentation, gents!
Thanks buddy! I like that profile photo!
Remember...The old house phones used those modular connectors and got yanked and pulled but held up! No problem with them.
Years ago Kenwood handhelds were the oddball nothing fit wiring wise it seemed like the industry standard was Icom I could be wrong
Trying to connect a 4 pin cb style desk mic to a kenwood 281 with a rj45. Getting no audio out on the air. Willing to help me out?
What is the CB microphone model number? Did you verify the pins in the RJ45 have correct pin to pin configuration?
No zoom link this week?
We are modifying the weekly show. It will stay under an hour and focus on the presentation. Stay tuned for a possible Zoom link in the future.
