If the Blob absorbs the Thing does it become the Bling?
LMAO, I almost spit up my drink.

😂😂🤣🤣💀💀 good one !
This would be a crazy ass movie.
Lol ikr
@@donlengel4770 Crazy ass expensive.
The lead doctor is voiced by the same guy as Professor Farrnsworth
I came straight to the comments for this sh*t!!!! 😂
I noticed that 😁
Death by sno snoo
Good news😅😅😅😅
Yes in Futurama along with Fry and Dr. Zoiburg.
Gremlins vs Critters
What @lanceparker4796 said
Yes...🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
OMG YES!
I rote for Gremlins 😄
The swiming pool scene in #1
And the fire preventing sprinkler system in movie 2. 😂😂😂😂😂
Good one ‼️‼️‼️
In that match-up, my money would be on the blob. As fast as it dissolves tissue, I don't think the thing would stand a chance.
in a "toe to toe" fight Thing loses but because the Thing was taking over the bodies of smart scientists and absorbing their knowledge it would not take him very long to figure out the Blob's weakness to cold and the story takes place in Antarcitca.
Physically yes but the Things superior intelligence would devise a way to defeat the Blob.
@@redpillnibbler4423 not if it was already digested.
If they were smart, they would have had 1000 kiloton nuclear bomb underneath the facility, in the event of catastrophic failure, the bomb would vaporize everything.
This should be an absolute necessity. 💯
They don’t idiots.
All the scp bases have a nuclear failsafe, so it's an established thing in sci fi bases
We are talking about a horror movie not real life so that nuclear bomb idea wouldn't work and instead would just blast the blob into thousands of tiny seperate individual Blobs that would search out food. Some might be caught but lots would avoid detection. These would eventually turn into big Blobs file for statehood become untouchable and very unpleasant all the while telling the rest of us how wasteful we are being by not just jumping into the blob!
1000 kilotons so 1 megaton lol
The only brotha not only dies first, but becomes the villian. Dang
In the same way Samuel L Jackson always dies or a red shirt in Star Trek 😂
In both the original movie and 1980’s remake, the Blob never displayed an ability to absorb inorganic matter.
Also, both movies confirmed that extreme cold would freeze and neutralize it. No way would it be a threat in the open artic, unless global warming started to raise the temperature there.
@@Partyboy22 and in both cases they can be thawed out unharmed.
I don't know about steel or stainless but copper wire and insulation can be eaten by vinegar. The acid from the blob can eat bones so I would assume that wiring would stand no chance.
I wonder if The Borg would win this one.
The old guy in the remake, his clothes and the gurney they had him on was melted from the Blobs acidic juices.
This matchup sounds good in theory, but basically all the lab has to two is open the doors and let both creatures freeze. Kinda boring when you think about it.
Because the blob eats anything it touches, the thing might get trapped as a blob when the thing tries to assemlate the blob, due to anything the blob touches desolves before it can be assimilated.
Dr Flyn (or Flin) sounds exactly like Professor Hubert J Farnsworth from Futurama!! Hear him out!
Hahaha.... yeah, definitely noticed that. "Good news everyone!!!"
Yeah my brother threw some Easter eggs in there
got some sound from Rick and Morty too
To The Angry Dome!
To The Angry Dome!!
A couple of many questions ;
Why did the super duper blob container have micro fissures??
Why put a single person in the same room to guard the thing??
Why does every character have a hilariously funny robot voice??
Why does the blob now absorb non biological material??
Got a whole movie here! Nice job!
Thank you
Great story I don’t remember the blob absorbing inorganic material seemed from what I remember just flesh
Correct. Additionally, both freeze.
I noticed in the later portrayals of The Blob , it was shown as a monster that destroys anything it makes contact with although it feeds on organic life to grow. In the earlier portrayals , it only fed on flesh without doing any damage besides. I believe that the upgrade was to make The Blob more dynamic!! If it was just a flesh eater employing enzymes , there could have been a way found to destroy it by using counteracting enzymes or even some type of acid or base chemicals!!🤔🤔🤔
Take a look at this movie called "X The Unknown". That was a movie made in England 2 years before The Blob!! This movie was about a blob creature that was awakened from dormancy by atomic testing. It was destroyed by being fed atomic chemicals that worked against it!!😊😊
Yeah, that’s right.
They made it up!
The Blob was of a clear composition when it arrived on Earth!! It didn't turn red until it started feeding!! It was originally called The Molten Meteor!!!🤔🤔🤔
It was pink in the '88 remake before it ever consumed anything on screen. Of course, that Blob was actually man-made, and as it was a chemical warfare experiment, it potentially "ate" stuff already. So, technically, you could still be correct.
WOW iam only 18 minutes into this story and IT KICKS AZZ .The visual production is Fantastic and THE BLOB looks crazier then the 1988 version. If this was a graphic Novel or fully Animated WOW. HOLLYWOOD HAS TO MAKE THIS A MOVIE. THE THING hasn't Appeared yet and I cant want. And this production is 55 minutes long. I am going to put this on my Halloween 🎃 must watch list.
😂😂are you kidding? Hollywood couldn't make a cheese sandwich if their lives depended on it nevermind a great quality film. Perhaps a different studio? As you say this could make for horror versus film
I prefer the original 1958 version with Steve McQueen 😊
Well what did you think?
War of tomorrow vs quiet place
Xenomorph Vs. Calvin (Life)
Xenomorph vs Thing or Calvin vs Thing as well.
I wanna say I saw a video about that somewhere. Or I had a crazy dream
Interesting.
If Calvin is immune to the alien blood then my money is on Calvin, even though a xenomorph is infinitely cooler than Calvin.

My mother in a mood would have destroyed them all.
Xenomorph vs the thing was done already and the thing won.
Uber Jason vs T800
Species vs the thing and Species vs the Xenamorph
I believe they have already done that
I looked over the episodes and I don’t see it one with female Shapeshifting aliens that changed their anatomies. From scripted by machines
The Thing of course.
I've wondered if the Engineers created the Species and the Xenomorphs, given the similar design aesthetic

Calvin a multi-celled organism from the movie “Life” vs the Thing
or hear me out
Calvin vs The Flood (Halo)
Im asking for Calvin Vs. Xenomorph for sure!
That's a good one
The Thing
The thing would absorb Calvin and become the Cing 👑
Very good story. If the characters can be developed more, this should be a movie.
Well done! I appreciate the expanded attempt at story telling.
That was absolutely brilliant! Nothing like I expected…SO much more!!! LOVED this!!!!
So how about going large-scale now? Godzilla (either Shin or Minus One) vs Cthulhu perhaps???
There's been a post from a different contributor, detailing a Godzilla vs. Cthulhu clash ... The editor of the piece admitted not knowing enough about Cthulhu as to powers and abilities, so he gave the contest to Godzilla ... I imagine the data engine used by SbM might present a better assessment of that epic clash of Earth Titan vs. Outer World Ancient Entity.
@@kendhoward551 I’d love to see what SbM could come up with. Every video I’ve watched has been so much fun and entertaining!
Maybe it should be Cthulhu vs Gidorah
The Sasquach from The Six Million Dollar Man vs bad Hulk from The Incredible Hulk tv series?
Lol, you're showing both our ages. I remember those episodes from both the six million dollar man and the hulk. Both scared the crap outta me. Good times

Look at Rick vs the Doctor.
Leprechaun vs IT

I've always imagined 1988s The Blob was a weapon to counter The Thing.
Its solid snake lol
Species 8472 from Star Trek against all the SCPs
Species 8472 vs. SCP-682

Tremors worms Vrs A Quiet Place alien 🤔
Im all over that.
@danospitpatio6236 I love this channel. Such a great concept
I doubt a grab boy could catch them
@taylorburke5388 but the Quiet Place aliens can't really dig, and the Graboid worms can definitely hear them running around, idk, just think it would be interesting.
Tremor Graboid Wins
Agent 47 Vs John Wick
I give John the one one
Agent 47
Here are my ideas:
-Xenomorph outbreak in the middle of the Vampire/Lycan Wars (Aliens vs Underworld)
-Xenomorph vs the Wolf Man (either the 1941 one, or the 1987 Monster Squad one where the legit only thing that can kill the Wolf Man IS for certain Silver, or the 2010 one)

Could as well have been a SCP foundation compound!
Would’ve benefited from having a tactical nuke on site for such an event like an SCP facility.
Pumpkinhead vs. the creeper ?!
Alice from Resident Evil Vs Ultravolet
Ai this might be, but having Farnsworth as Flynn makes it very entertaining. When I first heard him say "universe" and the inflection was perfect, I knew this would be worth my time!
The beast from split vs Jason vorrhees
DUDE, i dunno if AI wrote this as a whole or not, but am LOVING the Thing being so damn smart! It is doing everything the right way! I absolutely love that. It isn't barrelling at the Blob or the humans but carefully trying to use the Blob as a weapon before being forced to defend itself against it. That is basically how it should be! I love this so much. I love when the creature AND the humans are both doing everything right and in a strategic way. It almost feels like being narrated a three way multiplayer match.
I so love that the Thing wins merely by not mindlessly fighting the Blob and just escaping. The fact that the Blob, if it escapes, would just get frozen, meanwhile the Thing just would hibernate. That WAS SO DAMN GOOD! BRAVO!
Freddy Krueger versus hell raiser
The whole video is hilarious.
Especially when the characters are speaking.
And let us have the winner vs the Andromeda Strain.
Hannibal Lecter vs Hitcher or Hulk vs juggernaut
Hulk v Juggernaut has been done
Which Hulk? The pussy from Avengers Infinity war or the mean mofo from The Incredible Hulk?
Hannibal Lecter vs Dexter Morgan may be better.
This was FANTASTIC. Thank you so much. I watched and listened to every minute. Loved this.
Nice approach and definitely worth watching.
The crooked man vs the slender man
Krampus vs Liam the leprechaun
My vidaloo stools vs a portaloo.
So who won? Furthermore, we are forgetting something here, both the blob and thing were stopped by the cold. Yet the thing casually walks MILES on frozen terrain? How??? If the distance was as far as it was stated, it should have froze. Not for nothing going back to the first movie the thing was found not that far from its space ship frozen in stasis.
As for the blob it had some cover with an collapsed science base on it, but it too would freeze.....
In my POV there is no way the thing could have won against the blob. The blobs pure acidic nature would dissolve the thing. Sure it might take a little longer, but the blob would still absorb the thing. The thing could not assimilate fast enough while being digested.
Both won technically. The Thing gets to assimilate everything and can spread it’s agents into space while The Blob eventually gets to consume the entire planet.
That's kinda true, The Thing was found frozen (but perfectly fine) but it was frozen 100,000' of thousands of years ago. That part of the world was even colder, and it didn't freeze instantly. It's only known weakness is fire, and even then you'll have to burn it to a crisp to make sure nothings left. The Blob in the remake was shown to get bigger faster with fire, but cold can kill it. We see a part of itself freeze and break off when trying to enter a freezer room. A small piece of that part that break off managed to survive, and was easily kept for years in a jar. Where the towns people hurt the main mass with fire extinguishers and I think killed it with a snowmaking truck that has canisters of liquid nitrogen. So being expose to the temperature of Antarctica would 100% kill it. The AI added some stuff to The Blob, and had The Thing using drones of itself which doesn't happen. In a straight fight there is a good chance The Blob acidic mass would burn The Thing. I really don't know, its kinda like could The Thing take over a Xeno with it's acid blood. I just don't know. But the video does show The Thing doing things smart and not facing The Blob head on after seeing it consume another, and even used The Blob to destroy the base ad escape.
Bravo! Keep em coming.
The Thing was in Antarctica. Also. The blob dissolves everything it engulfs to digest. So when it eats you your clothes and all dissolve. It's acid is very powerful.
Out of this whole video was it considered at any point that the thing is super cells that act similar to viruses and the blob is just an all you can eat buffet?
yes, it full-on digests all organic matter....including cells and viruses doesn't matter how super they are.
The thing's advantage is it's cunning and intelligence but in a straight up fight against the Blob it has no chance.
I was thinking the Thing might have technically "won" by devising freezing the blob, but the Blob can't be killed because once it is thawed it would just continue to do what it does.
The only scenario for complete destruction of the blob is perhaps completely obliterating ALL of the blob in something no less super-hot like thermonuclear explosions or sending it into the sun because it can withstand high temperatures.
The blob is a cheap knock off of a shoggoth. An example is in the film "PHANTOMS" for a wide view.
Absolutely loved this! Thank you 🙏
This is amazing!
I hear Professor Farnsworth
Also Rich Sanchez from the show Rick and Morty.
Stay off the shrooms!
Lol
LOL @ Rick's voice! XD Rick & Morty. 😆
I never liked the alien from Species. It’s too indestructible. It heals faster than Wolverine, and can hijack basically any living creature-Yet somehow doesn’t tolerate genetic diseases?
I would like to think the Xenomorph could kill it, it’s tougher and it’s acidic blood likely couldn’t be assimilated by the Species monster.
28:02 Solid snake? 🐍 Lol
I don’t remember the blob consuming inorganic matter.
Wow such a diverse ethnic team they have at omega.
😎
If think deep on it the one guy doing the most important job protecting them from themselves is all that really counts !!!!!!!!!!!! but in a horror film dud is toast first to die 🤣 In truth i just saw 13:34 he is to blame as well 😎😎🫵
I mean dang the black job was say what ! 😎 🤣

And everyone of them has a hilariously funny robot voice 😂
This would be such a good action 🎬 horror movie, lots of shapeshifting, paranoia, terror. 😊

Nice video thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!
Farnsworth: Bad news, everyone! A monstrous blob has escaped containment. But I've called on support of an old acquaintance.
Rick Sanchez: WTF DID YOU NOW, FARNSWORTH!?
I would like to see the plant guy from "The Thing From Another World" versus the monster from "It! The Terror From Beyond Space". Keep up the good work!
I don’t know, but I do know the thing from another world was an excellent film.
Big problem. The Blob doesn't consume inorganics.
28 days, Zombies vs Dawn of the Deads Zombies
This was great and I expected both to survive. Hoping for a part 2 if possible.
Skynet beats everything, and humans beat Skynet. Far as this goes I’d say the blob wins. The thing would be melted and devoured before it could absorb the blob.
Cyclop's vs Titan's
Blob instantly dissolves organic matter. The thing needs time to assimilate. Blob wins
