This was disgraceful. There is no way a second rate third banana of a character like m3gan takes out a literal death curse in his own territory. Besides Jason is fun. m3gan is a shit house of current year film making. completely disposable

Fun fact: Jason Voorhees in Jason Goes to Hell was blown to pieces but was still very much alive. He transferred himself via byproxy by having the mortician consume Jason's still intact heart by supernaturally inducing the mortician to eat his heart thus Jason was reborn into the mortician's body. Edit: Once Megan brings Jason's body parts back to headquarters. The doctor's and researchers will start working on Jason's dismembered remains and before you know it Jason is supernaturally inducing someone in that lab to eat his heart thus restarting the whole process all over again.

Cool battle, but I thought this was supposed to be M3gan vs Jason. Not futuristic government operated android super soldier vs Jason. If you give me a lightsaber, enhanced scanners, thought powered drones, reinforced armor, personal intel on my opponent, and prep time. I bet I can clear most slashers, too. I almost forgot her apparent ability to conjure containers large enough to hold chunks of a person but not so big that they can't be carried by small drones. Her winning had nothing to do with who M3gan is as a character. She did what any dummy would do with that arsenal. Bad end. The least you could have done was have her face off against Uber Jason from Jason X, if you were satisfied with the AI giving M3gan so much she did not have in her movie. All that being said, still a fan. This is a bit unusual to be this dissatisfied with the result. I often can at least devil's advocate against my own conclusions when I do disagree. Lol, I guess I'm worried that you'll think I'm just hating. 😅 If you do happen to take my bad review that way, I just want you to know that I think most of these are great, and I look forward to listening to many more.

Unless Megan's lore has outcomes of her or other robots like her fighting similar creatures, this feels awfully contrived. I get the whole "light vs. darkness" thing these scenarios are trying to sell, my issue with them is that it would feel just as jarring as the Terminator appearing in a timeline he didn't recognize and simply killing Jason Voorhees in a fight because... technology is just that awesome. A story like Ghostbusters shouldn't be taken for granted as a norm in sci-fi. Other sci-fi properties that assume monsters don't exist need to treat these as superstition when confronted with the problem, and resolve it creatively when the monster appears without the tools of comic books or Ghostbusters, using ingenuity with discovered monster lore and technology they actually have. And if they can't, they have to use the same resources to live to tell the tale. Sci-fi vs horror is about intelligence and ingenuity vs. superhuman or cosmic power, not power and glory vs. superstition.

How about team ups. M3gan and Darkness (Konosuba) Vs Jason Vorhees and Michael Myers Reason M3GAN and Darkness both have the same mission protection of the innocent. Darkness gets Turned on when she takes damage because she's a masochist. Meanwhile M3GAN while not having this same problem knows Darkness comes from another universe and has a mission to send darkness back home using some new gate technology.

Yeah, since when does M3gan have any of that stuff?

I cannot wait to see M3gan vs Pennywise. It should be an interesting outcome.

After late night watching John Carpenter's "The Thing" movie many years ago I couldn't sleep. It was the only time I was totally freaked out after watching a horror movie. Since then this monster is the only thing that cause the shivers go down my spine whenever I see the movie title in a TV programme schedule or on a website article. But this scenario gave me some kind of relief, soothe my fear of The Thing... haha :) I was imaging scared The Thing monster, while listening your story, being unable to assimilate its opponent, effectively fight back and eventually escaping from it made me smile for the rest of the day. I wish I saw some animation or a short video just to see The Thing's attempt to escape in fear from an opponent it can't defeat, to see its fright and panic, to see it being beated as painfully as possible, to hear its screams until it is reduced to a bloody mass of flesh and broken bones. And let's not forget to incinerate its remains :) My thoughts about the possible encounter - I watched both videos, read many comments and started thinking. Xen's acidic blood is a serious barrier for TT. If TT would be able to grow resistanse to it by itself TT will need a lot of time and probably a couple attempts to improve it. But Xens don't give a break to their pray and would shower TT with their acid spits. Does being a silicon-based life form automaticaly make it immune to TT's assimilation ?? We don't know what elements build TT's cells. And we don't know what life forms TT had assimilated before it crashed on Earth. Have you ever heard about arsenic biomolecules in bacteria where a phosphorus atom is replaced with arsenic ?? :) I think If TT would be able to assimilate Xen's body it would take much longer than consuming traditional carbon-based organism. But, again, Xens are always in rush and would destroy TT body before the assimilation process starts. OR TT's flesh's remains will slowly take over unwashed Xens' bodies , gradually accelerating assimilation due to TT's adaptive capabilities. That's all for now.
