To avoid import taxes, a few years back, many illegal imports took cars apart, ship them in different containers, different dates and put them together later. Vietnam & China were 2 well known destination. They even cut the chassis in half to avoid local enforcement's attention.

I agree with him , and I still say it to this day, electric vehicles wouldn’t exist if Elon never pushed it, especially if he never invested into Tesla , we would all still be driving gas vehicles talk about engines and gas prices. That’s something that so many e, especially Elon haters , forgot. Every EV being designed, developed, manufactured, and sold , is a direct answer to Elon’s challenge, especially when Tesla designed the Model S.

It's surreal. These cars are talked about like they're ancient history. My pickup truck is 30 years old, and I can still roll into the parts store and get what I need. (Ford) These cars are consumer electronics on wheels. They're beautiful works of engineering art, but from an everyday driving perspective, they've aged like whole milk. And I'd still buy one if I could afford one as a second car. I am clearly NOT part of the demographic these cars are marketed to... Excellent video.

By far, the most valuable Tesla Roadster is also the fastest. Sadly it's just been left out in the elements for the last 6 and a half years and getting sun damaged.
Yet despite its value and historical significance, nobody seems willing to go out and recover it. It would easily fetch over $1 million, as is, if brought to an auction. Granted, it's remoteness at roughly 1 AU distance away does pose a challenge in recovery. However, it will be much closer in 2047 if someone wants to try and catch it then.
