Thanks for the idea. I have had those kinds of diamond hole saws for 3 years but never used them because I couldn't get them to cut on a target spot. Now I see your simple trick will do it for me. Thanks again.
To start core drill which has no centre. Hold at a slight angle and then gradually tilt to allow the cut to increase to make a full circle. Its a skill so on only one hole it may wobble around and damage tile surface. Keep wet and pressure and speed low to begin. Steady drill on knee or bottom step of ladder etc.
