I like that the visuals haven't changed all that much! Honestly. It would be a bad use of their time and budget to focus on making it look more photorealistic or whatever instead of using their resources on the gameplay and world creation. It also helps it run better on previous gen consoles and PCs that don't cost a fortune. Now all we do is wait, wait and hope it doesn't need to be delayed...

Any other From fans planning on going dark from now till Jan 2022? I’ve always envied those who manage to keep as much of a new From game as possible as a surprise and I think Elden Ring is the one for me to give it a go.
I always intend to but never have the willpower. The worst time is when the community get early access and start uploading playthroughs and I'm so feckin thirsty for the game I find it impossible not to watch. I need help! lol
Elden Ring has better graphics and textures than DS3, why do you want even better graphics than this? Its a pain to render, current GPU's will exhaust much more heat and im not spending 3000$ on a new GPU thats already overpriced to begin with. I love FromSoftware as the company they are, create some hype guys! FromSoft ain't CDPR lol
Between the trailer and miyazaki interview explains the world,story and mechanics I'm excited to see how this game plays out. It has a solid basis in souls with enough new things to to keep things fresh. The open world,horse,stealth,100 skills should really add to the souls foundation
There seems to be an emphasis on arms and limbs in this game, kind of like how eyes are a focus on bloodborne, from all the creatures with loads of limbs and that crazy arm guy and of course the room with limbs hanging from the ceiling.
The ears of the horse are also not normal. Look up horse pictures which will show the ears pointing straight up. The horns, and ears are ox style horns, and ears. The rest of the anatomy of the player's horse is really just horse through, and through. It's a cool design. I also like that it's a smaller horse, and not a behemoth like clydesdales.

People complaining about the graphics forget one thing. GAMEPLAY > GRAPHICS Simple fact that everyone forgets, and why they're constantly disappointed every time the game they're hyped about comes out. That's why I'll always love Miyazaki. He puts gameplay before absolutely everything, and thus why Soulsbourne games are so respected.
I'm glad it's on PS4 and Xbox 1 since I'd happily play a less graphically pretty version rather than try to hunt down a PS5. I think by 2023 we'll be at a stage where it's just PS5 games
A lot of the designs remind me of DS2 way more than the other games. As if, this game is far closer to being what DS2 could have been if the decrement wasn’t so rocky for so long. Lol
I really hope you level up at the bonfires, not by your waifu... If this is an open world and you maybe create your own camps, the open world feel would disappear at the moment you had to fast travel to a hub to level up...

I need a lot more information that actually matters--what the mechanics are, how do you win, how can you lose, what are you actually contesting over, street price--before I can say anything other than this. Far too many people do not respect themselves enough to demand solid information from merchants offering wares, and that includes gamers dealing with publishers and developers, and they sure as Hell don't punish bad actors severely enough to deter bad faith actions by those same parties. So far, I see a lot of sizzle and no steak, and that's not a good sign.
And now miyazaki done interviews talking about the story,mechanics and skills. I think from what he said and what we saw there's plenty to be excited about
