Ian McShane is charismatic as hell as the bad guy and Roy Thinnes is a monotone mumbling wooden post as the guy that is supposed to be this movie's James Bond.
I remember watching this one for the first time. It took me until practically the end of the movie to figure out that Lovejoy wasn’t the hero and those other guys weren’t the villains.
39:05 'Do you Like Hitchcock?' I do :) So Crow's line, 'Rope had more Hawaiian locations than this!' Killed me!!! lol If you plan on seeing 'Rope' SPOILERS for the 75 year old film. Honestly, back away slowly because you should REALLY see this movie!! The beauty of 'Rope' and the reason the joke was a Homerun, for me. Is because I was trying to think of a film that would Fit their ongoing joke and had just thought, 'Psycho' Would be a good one... Then Crow hit on Rope, An experimantal film. Where the gimmick was, no viewable cuts, besides 1 at the start. For me, the best part was, only one major location, For 98% of the film, we are in one claustrophobic room. A room with a dead body, in a trunk in the living room, with the 2 killers known to us!! And they are so confident, that they can get through a dinner party!!! I could talk about 'Rope' for hours. It's fascinating on so many levels and the story is true. Well, a lot of it is but Every thing with Jimmy Stewart helps shorten something in to a night, which in reality, was a much longer affair Anyway, finish this and go watch Rope!!
26:05 I like it that Mary Joe Pehl (The future Mother & Pearl) is causing the bots headaches, before becoming more than just a voice! If I didn't know any better, (AND I don't:) it's like their trying her out as a villain/character before she officially becomes one but the were not planning far, far ahead, were they? It's like Lucas, saying he had all 3, then 6, planned out early!

@@thomaspalazzolo5902 THANK YOU! I could make out what they were saying in the first season, but all of them seem kinda muddled in this one, and harder for me to make out. The closest I got was that _heinous_ mishear that _I knew_ was wrong (or perhaps that all of these old bad movies are actually taking their toll, lol!)
Reminds me of a joke. Two priests are going on vacation to Hawaii. They decide not to wear their collars to see what it's like to live as lay people again. One day they're on the beach and two women in bikinis walk by. They say, "Hello, Fr. Raymond. Hello, Fr. Richard." The priests are confused and they catch up with the women. "Excuse us," one says. "How did you know we were priests?" And one of the women says, "Father, don't you recognize us? It's Sr. Wilhelmina and Sr. Ursula!"
Thank you for putting these out, guys. It means a lot to be able to share these with the family, whether they like it or not.
They will learn!
You're not forcing them to watch these old MST3K episodes while holding them against their will on a satellite in orbit, are you?
They should really just relax.
or not
Nothing wrong with going back and watching the classics but I've got say, besides a few great Riffs, Ihis one must have been rough.
Cheers
I regret not having this tv show available in my region during its initial run, but I'm grateful for its availability now. Thank you!
"jackie."
"WHAT."

MAN, he is good at conveying incomprehensible plot points!
These shows take me back to late night Saturday nights in my college dorm at Tulane with my friends all gathered around the tv laughing together.
I've never seen this one! I need some laughs today!
Alien had more Hawaii locations than this movie.
home alone 2: lost in new york had more hawaiian locations!

nah, an american movie would never have a hero in an ascot. that was the only thing that made me sure he was the bad guy.
But Fred from Scooby-Doo?
One of my all-time faves that I quote to myself constantly (“Where’d I park my car?”) 😂
"The head's gone, stop rubbing." I about lost it
"What was I in, _I _*_KNOW_*_ I know me!"_
Lost it
"Let's see here... Sharron Wilkinson... Debbie Johnson. Okay, go right in, ladies." Gets me every time.
More classic MST3K! All right!
HITLERS DEATH CAR! gets me every time 🤣
"The Family of Shame"...LMAO!
