    AC/3 is the point of centre of gravity (from the altitude side) otherwise it'd be 2AC/3 if we take vertex point opposite to altitude .

    during calculation of BMD at C firstly we have done Ra * l/root 3 - 1/2 * l/root 3* wl/ root 3 l* l/3 root 3 to get the required result .Hope it helps

    You take a length AC/3 for BMD because of moment of A point and moment of C point resist each other.

    we took AC/3 because now we are taking moment about point C so a section is cutted at c and the shear acting on the triancle acts at a distance of 1/3 times span from the vertical side. so AC/3
