AC/3 is the point of centre of gravity (from the altitude side) otherwise it'd be 2AC/3 if we take vertex point opposite to altitude .
during calculation of BMD at C firstly we have done Ra * l/root 3 - 1/2 * l/root 3* wl/ root 3 l* l/3 root 3 to get the required result .Hope it helps
