Sir, plz tell why do we need SFD and BMD diagram calculation . And how it is used at site ..because no one video on UA-cam is able to make us understand they all are just saying algebraic sum.. sir plz tell us the physical meaning of SFD and BMD ..if not calculate what problems we will face at site....
CARS ARE DESIGNED WITH TAKING BENDING MOMENT IN CONSIDERATION OR THE BODY WILL BREAK UNDER HEAVY STRESS. THATS WHY IN SOME CASES MAXIMUM WEIGHT IS MENTIONED ON MACHINES
PHYSICAL MEANINGS OF SFD & BMD 1. SFD: When a beam is loaded, the load is transferred to the support from the loading points to the points of support by passing through the each and every section of the beam. So, each and every section of the beam has a vertical component of the force due to the applied loading. If we calculate the vertical unbalanced force from one end of the beam, it is known as the SF. The support sections being the final points of load transfer, the SF will be max at the supports. The variation of SFD along the span can be represented as the SFD. 2. BMD: Due to the applied loading, each and every section is influenced by it and tend to bend due to the eccentricity of the applied loads wrt the supports. The tendancy of the beam to bend due to the applied loading is known as BM. The variation plotted along the span is known as the BMD. Both the SFD and BMD helps to find the value of the SF and BM at any section due to the applied loading. THE APPLICATION OF SFD & BMD: The SF, BM, deflection etc are interconnected. The relation can be explained simply as given below. 1. SFD: Once the SF at the salient points are known, it helps to design the required shear reinforcement. Also, BMD being the SF dependant we can also assess the BM from SFD. 2. BMD : Once we obtained the values of BM at different sections, we can design the flexural reinforcements for the respective sections. Also, the area of BMD helps to find out the deflection of the beam under the applied loading. Hence, we can check for the allowable deflection values and can provide the necessary requirements accordingly.
Sir... There is a point how can a bending moment can max or min at point load plzz elaborate it..... So far I know where shear force changes its sign there bending will be maximum And where where shear force tends to to zero there will be bending moment minimum as I think
I have a question regarding the point of contraflexure... What if the BMD is just tangent to x-axis (i.e. BM=0 but It doesn't change signs.). So in that case it is a point of contraflexure or not?

nice sir
Give me playlist link please sir
Ur voice is so soothing 😊
Padhai lekhai me dhyan do ias Yas bano. Par nahi
Shadi krlo
May I get ur Instagram please
Really his voice is amazing i always his lecture from nepall
@Harshita singh shaadi karlo mujhse
love your voice man..thanks for the lecture.
For point of contraflexture the sign for BM changes while for point of inflection it need not change sign simply BM is equal to zero.
Sir apke SFD and BMD Kay jitne vi video hai uska playlist link discription may day dije please 🙏🙏🙏

Good bro . Thanks for giving me such a huge knowledge about sfd and bmd
Sir aapki videos me mujhe aaj wo mila hai jiska hume kaphi talash thi thank u aur v videos bnate rahe isi tarah....
fabulous video sir thank you
Very easily and short way u understand a lot of thanks sir
Sir diploma student's keleaa helpful and easily nice video hyy ...tq sir
Point of contraflexure is when bending moment changes sign and point of inflection is when deflected shape changes
Bilkul sahi bhai...ies master ki pdf m bhi yahi h

This seems to be related to the differential equation of deflection curve.
Bro you are very awesome yr
You have awesome knowledge of strength of materials
Point of inflection is where shear force changes sign. Point of contraflexure is where bending moment changes
Also bm=0 at point of contraflexure
Best way to decode##great ##
Thanks sir for understanding the SFD and BMD.
“Explaining”
He is thankful to sir , who understands the concept 😝

Same doubt bro no one give clarification about how it's importance at site
@@chin3884 thank you bro
It is calculated to get variation of sf and bm and to lacate max sf and max bm in a beam
Thank u sooo much sir.....now I can understand SFD & BMD how to solve....
Explanation is awesome.. examples explain Karo....
Very useful point. Thank u.
Sir i m from Pakistan i really like your lectures.
😊😊
