    This is the best video Ive seen so far. Putting it on 2x speed helps a lot but this video doesn't waste any time with a bunch of b.s. and instead gets right to the methods of drawing in 3D

    You did great in the making of the video and you saved me a bit of time since it's not done downloading yet. Used to use 2013 and figured I needed to update. Lol well thanks again and now it's time to start designing again.

    At 1:58, I cannot make the duplicated lines fall perfectly on the existing rectangle. Is there a certain option I am supposed to have checked? What might I be doing incorrectly?

      You must enable snappings with objects (''Objects Snap''), check the first video of this series

    I quite understand the tutor with accent and it has been closed subtitles. I am a new AutoCAD learner. The 2D and 3D AutoCAD graphic designs, Do you have lessons that explains in details all features that are included on Drawing Graphic?

    In changing the rectangle from a 2d object to a 3d object by giving it height and copying the line drawn that gives height how do you specify points? I try to copy and either I cant copy it to a specific point becasue you can't type while holding ctrl or I just copy it approximatly and thats useless

    • @bai
      @bai  9 років тому

      If you need to specify a value for the height, simply draw a line and specify its length (=height). Then place it perpendicular to the rectangle and with one point on a rectangle vertex. Then transform the rectangle in a 3D object and stop when you reach the same height of the line. Then just delete the line.

    Autocad mechanical 2015 student version does not have 3d tools....

    • @kuhrd
      @kuhrd 10 років тому

      I have not figured out yet why they don't give you 3D tools in the mechanical version but if you use the regular AutoCAD 2015 student version it allows you to turn on and use the 3D tools. Although very few people use AutoCAD for 3D any more. Most designers are using parametric 3D modeling programs like Solidworks and Inventor.

    Mr bai... I bet u that u cant even compare to the programmer 3d projectes to the project made by some local softwares... Better u start learning programming language than making games in these stupid software

    • @bai
      @bai  7 років тому

      Uh-oh, why do you hate this so much?

    • @shreyaraj7brollno.286
      @shreyaraj7brollno.286 7 років тому

      As I'm a programmer I really don't like making 3d projects or games with the help of any outter software. Plus, these software don't give u freedom of making anything you want... Yay, one more thing that i dont like, many options in software like these you have to buy... rather in programming language you have the freedom of making anything you want... If you dont like typing much u can just make your own software in addition to GUI Environment and you can make your life easy rather than making games/3d projects in the static environment and graphics...

    • @mrguna4897
      @mrguna4897 7 років тому

      hello rahul ur programmer means see the programing videos in youtube dont see the modelling videos u not have a rights to compare with modelling software... modelling software is not like ur programming language its headache...

      I understand your opinion, but 3D modelling may be quite time-consuming when done in a code-environment. When projects start to be very complex, writing a program that may be composed by thousands and thousands of lines, is the easiest way to get dizzy. Even one mistake may consume a lot of time to retrieve it inside the program code.
      I would give you another point: does a code give you the ability to *render* a project? Projects must be _previewed_, must be _checked_, also entirely with all their sub-system. How would be time consuming to transform, manually, a code into a 3D object in your mind? Well, points of view.. :)

    • @shreyaraj7brollno.286
      @shreyaraj7brollno.286 7 років тому

      It may be... but if you make it on Irrlicht language rather than making it on OpenGL directly, it takes only one line for each shape you had made it on this video... and as far as u talk about errors, the compiler directly gives us what is the error and the line no. of the error... Once you become a good programmer these software is nothing for u rather u can able to make much more graphical, technical and awesome games and projects... Yay, what a heck u r talking about making 3D objects in your mind... I'm sorry but haven't u heard about OBJ, 3Ds.. files these files are made from software like blender etc... We just do is directly upload these object on the main file with help of some codes... These software are free of cost, Directly Interact with User, Codes produced by these software are readable using a simple notepad, Codes can be editable easily and these file can be used in all programming language related to the 3D environment... I think u r a starter because you should know about 3D files already. Oh yay, these files are also used in the software u r using in this tutorial...
