I learned AutoCAD in 2 hours with you videos. everything is explained clear, I think you are the best online tutor I've aver came across
Thank you for this video, I bought a 3D printer and just started learning how to work with CAD.
Following this tutorial was extremely fun and gave me a first step feeling to join the CAD world!!
Thanks Jai,
Thank you for making another fantastic training lesson. Precise translation in 3D relative to a curved surface is very tricky, and so you have to really plan yout our drawing approach . The clever part to this lesson is knowing how and where to relocate the UCS origin, then correctly orientate the X-Y plane. Finally, using the legacy polyline geometry of the semi-circle-rectangular segment and then translating it to the centre of the object is a master stroke.
Quite clear. Thank you. As a newer user, it helps to also see if you select the incorrect area or plane, what happens if you do, how to deselect or undo it, and then show the correct steps.
love it. especially the small tips & tricks that are super helpful.! keep up with the good work!
This is the best Autocad tutorial ever!!, very clear, great instructions, covers all the important tools & functions .. Only 22mins and i feel like i can make almost anything... Just need to learn curved surfaces eg hyperbolic curve shapes and im set .. thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this. It is always a good source of revision.
Thanks again SourceCAD! The USC and view commands in 3D are some of the most confusing. You make it much simpler with your tutorial.
which is the best app to download for auto cad engineering drawing
I found this fascinating. Thank you for walking us through this
Thank you. I learn many from this video. Good job!
Thank you! Very well explained. You made it look so simple. Thumbs up!!
The best AutoCad teacher on the UA-cam if you ask me. Great well thought out lessons, structured and well explained. I always look forward to the next tutorial.
Jay, I am using ACAD 2018. I note that sometimes (yes sometimes not all times) when I do the final wedge section, the ""join"" function produces a spline and not polyline. I suspect there is something deep and subtle going on in my drawing. Are there techniques in ACAD to help solve these issues ?
i've been ssing around on a friends soft soft for years, finally bought it. I found your videos and instantly subscribed and have been
This kind of teaching is needed for students to learn. Good teaching!

Excellent video Sir. For a long time I had a problem of finding a solution to the lines that we can’t trim. You have shown a solution. Thank you Sir. Mean time if you can tell the reason why we can’t trim it is highly appreciated.
been following all ur videos via ur website, most helpful. Good man. Thanks a lot
Excellent video presentation very useful. If I would like to ask any doubt can I contact ur number? ?
Great lessons, thanks for the great help, keep it up bro
Very simple tutorial and easy to understand. Спасибо за урок!
Thank You for your Tutorial. It Helps me studying AutoCad.
Although I am using AutoCAD since 1998 however creating 3D modelling like Mechanical parts it is very easy to build in Solidworks software. To create above model in solidworks require maximum 5 minutes with real view rendering.
by any ans, but I can make what I envision, and that's the greatest gift to . You are, without a doubt, an expert teacher. You may
Thx a lot for providing free auto Cad lesson god bless you
Wow I learned so much, thank you for creating this tutorial
Very illustrative....could understand the basics also of using which command when.
Good, It is good to refresh. The last step, you must take care when you select the top point to create the extrusion due to you will generate a gap when you apply thickness (if you take a superior view you will see)
Thank you so much. I appreciate that!
awesome tutorial! learnt alot from this
it is the clear tutorial, thank you so much.
Thank you. I think so simple tutorial and easy to understand.
Its nice ,Revolutionary teaching and wonderful tutor
Nice Tutorial.
As Student for automotive engineering I´m working with Catia. In Comparison with this Tutorial for AutoCAD I must say modelling mechanical components seems to be definitely easier and faster with Catia...
Catia has Icon plane like UCS in auto CAD
Thank you so much for the good explanation!
Super fun and easy! Up until @12:50, my X went positive to the left. Quite the brain workout!
thank you :D i learned a lot
Impressive piece of skill> i have subscribed to your web page and will look forward to receiving further uploads from you> Thumb up bro
Thanks sir I learned many points from this video. Feel happy
Your method of explanation is perfect thanks so much
can you make a video on how to shift the UCS? I was having a lot trouble to get my xyz plan in the right position. Thank you very much. You are doing a great job teaching us. Thank you again.
You just earned a like and a subscriber ;)
Спасибо вам, мне понравился ваш видео урок, все очень понятно
After making the final part, the rib, you need to extrude the right side of the rib slightly to the right, that is x-direction, and union it to the main part to get a strong joint. Otherwise, you get a line contact only between big vertical cylinder and the rib which will ultimately affect the strength of the product.
Took me a while to understand this but wow thanks for the understanding
good design mechanical :)
Thank you so much ,the video has help me to enjoy and love the AutoCAD, good job .
Can you help me with my 3d assignment , i am having a tough time getting started please.
Very helpful. it is appreciated indeed.
What application is this by the way?

I just wanna give you a huge thanks for you cause tNice tutorials is the most helpful video I've had in a wNice tutorialle and it really helped so keep up the
For those who want to immediately jump in and defend AutoCAD please keep in mind I started out with AutoCAD for 3D work over 15 years ago, I stopped doing all 3D modeling for 10 years, and then took up SolidWorks. After watching this video I am sure I will stay with SolidWorks for 3D modeling. I find the moving of the XYZ coordinate tedious and a bit confusing. I believe this same part could have been drawn in 1/3 of the time with SW. I do not remember AutoCAD being so clunky in 3D modeling. With that statement, I would like to see two well-trained individuals draw this same part one in AutoCAD and the other using SolidWorks. It would be very interesting to see who could finish first and by how much.
thank you very much ----for your good job
very well explained; thanks for sharing!
Thank you, it works perfect!
Excellent way of explaining sir its been very kind of you the autocad is so easy i never expecting before i watch you video. Pls keep it up i really want you to continue this in Urdu/Hindi. Regards

It was really useful and clear thank you so much.
Great
it is a good tutorial mr.
When you prepared a final rib and extruded by 6mm and then pulled by further 6mm, there will be gap at the end of the rib and the outer surface of the vertical cylinder on either side that need to be filled in. Just a thought.
Same here 😅
(2) in "Slicex" you could create New Drum Loops and softs in any order from different slices. And keep the loop slices playing in and
Helped A Lot! Thanks!
Awesome helped a lot I need refreshing in acad I subscribed
Can you please tell me why instead of a polyline it generates a spline at the final geometry of the drawing?
thank you for the video
