@newcars-m2r Yes I had planned to do that to add another 500GB of storage but the caddy which I brought online was not fitting into the slot as it was thicker for some reason.I also happen to have lots of dvds with data on it so a working optical drive is a nice feature to have

Hey i suggest that in the place of the optical cd drive you install a caddy that way you can install another 2.5" sata ssd or hdd in it
