I don't burn easily. Not even in the Mediterranean.
But this close to the equator, you really need to watch yourself.
5-10 minutes in the sun and you're cooked.
A lot of people from northern Europe do not understand the difference, and how much more powerful the Sun is, even compared to Spain or Italy.

1:18 This was American Airline's old hub before they left back in 2015. It was where they had their check in desks. They use to occupy Terminal D and E with their huge American Airlines and Eagle operation when they operated to the islands. Kind of sad how they pretty much abandoned it. When I saw you went to St. Barth's straight from San Juan, I was like "what?! No Maho Beach as long as you're there??" Glad to see you made it there at the end. That was a bucket list thing for me the first time I did it. (I've done it several more times since then.) Reminds of a trip I did with 3 mates some years ago when we flew from Galway in Ireland to Inishmore (part of the Aran Islands off the coast of Galway) They weighed us before boarding ( I was the lightest I might add) and I think the plane was a Shorts 360 ! I ended up in the co pilots seat and it was very windy. We approached the runway and it looked terribly short....I said to the pilot is this long enough for us to land...he just smiled ( typically Irish) and when we touched down I could see the runway was indeed much longer than it looked...almost an "optical illusion" !! Scared the hell out of me though ! Thanks again mate and stay safe during these most uncertain of times !!

The hotel’s in an abandoned hall at San Juan? Interesting, so eerie. St Bart’s is so fascinating, I want to land there too
