There isn't a cover so you do have to keep on top of cleaning it!

The small bit in the lid has fallen out do you know how to fix it?
ah I had this happen too, so the black rubber bit should slot it back in (you can slot it in, and rotate 90 degrees to secure).

Surely any form of plastic is not a good water bottle to go with if you're owning it for an extended period of time
