The 62 d is the coin that started the collecting hobby for me , pulled out of a change bowl at the liquor store. The color is amazing, looks flawless and when i turn it at a certain angle unbelievable two errors pop out at you. Looking straight down you'd never see errors. Id hate to part with it. Its my first coin and honestly the most expensive i have in my collection. Wish i would of started before I was 60 yrs old but i enjoy it as if it were my first Matchbox car from 1965.
I save ALL of the 1960s that I find. I have found several 1962s today and a few of them were in really good condition. After watching this video, I'm going to re-examine the pennies and maybe get them graded. Thanks for making this video.
I found the 1962 Penny you are describing and you are very helpful that way I won't be taking advantage of when I go to the coin dealer tomorrow thank you
Thanks so much for your help. I have a 1962 and a 1962 d in a book that goes from 1959 to 19 75 with everything in between and since they were put in the book in 19 76 all 36 look great. Thank you thank you.
I keep all 60's and 70's coins just because of the age of them and some errors that may be worth quite a bit in the future to somebody who has deep pockets or shallow pockets with high denomination!!!! How do I send you pictures or videos to help me out with identifying and possibly getting expertise on what I have??? Thank You for all your wisdom...

If you have a 1943 copper penny you need to put that in a safe place and then have it graded but don't take it to a shop if it copper and 1943 it's worth a half a million dollars

@@ValsWorldRocks1 No, not yet, and it’s been 3 months now. The grading companies are backlogged and taking much longer to grade coins now. Both PCGS and NGC recently revised their estimated times for grading from 30-45 days not to 40-85 days depending on grading level you pick. I’ve been waiting for 91 days now, so even their revised estimated times are off.
I have all three sets and would like some insight on these sets. There's one set that has no color trimmed package to it. Is there a way to get these inspected. Thank you for the information. I found the book of pennies that I created in 1965 they're from 1959 through 1975. 36 very good looking coins. I'm curious about the 1962 and 1962 d. Is there something else from 1959 to 1975?

I bought a collection from a individual who's grandfather had passed, I've got a hundred each of 1959 no mint 1962d 1963 d All uncirculated pennies. Any idea of value?
Hello Gee Jr, I was reading through the comments and happened to see your comment about it "being hard to find someone you can trust" to help school you on coins. I'm in the same boat, I recently have been collecting, searching, buying coins and I need some help. I'm scared to death to attempt to sell any (which I believe I have some good ones) but honestly I am unsure of myself and DO NOT WANT TO SELL SOMETHING TO SOMEONE WITHOUT BEING 100% IT'S what it's supposed to be. If you ended up finding someone that gave you a helping hand or good advice I would really appreciate any help.
I received a 1962 cent today in my change. A cursory inspection showed it being robustly struck, yet showing it's age and not not close to being clean. Might take a closer look later but don't expect that I'll be retiring soon.
