I believe that the offset penny would be around 350, and the nickel on penny planchet would be around 500. Error coins don't bring high $$$.
thank you JB for imformation.
I have a 1979 dd revise no mint mark with double in the e,n and t in cent
How do I take pictures to send to you
I Have A 1979 D Mint With A Fascinating Coated/Laminated Reverse!!! Any Idea If It Is A Altered Cent Or Something Rare ??
I was just scratching a lotto ticket and didn't have any luck on the scratcher until I realized that I was using a 1979 D penny that might actually be worth more than a small prize 😆 thank you for this informative video! 👍
New to colllecting but learning alot about values from your videos. A guess would be $995 for the offset and $2885 for the Jefferson penny. Thanks for all your hard work J & B to keep us informed & entertained!
I think the '79 D penny will go for about $1200 and the Jefferson penny (that's weird to say 😂) will go for $570. This was a really great video today! Thanks for always teaching us something new!
The 55% off center will sell between $400-$800 the Jefferson will sell for about $1300-$1700 Thank you J&B for the great video
I have a super new looking 1979 S… It’s weird though cause the outer edge is thick! It’s engraving is deep and extremely shiny.
I would guess the error coins could go over 1000. Very interesting coins. Also love the 1979 videos that's my birth year so I try to collect as many as possible.
My birth year also.
Off struck penny will be around $2145, and penny/nickel will be $2750. As always, great info, you keep making my list longer for coins to look for.
I have one of these! I’m trying to collect penny’s, Even though i’m young (only around 14) I would have to ask because my parents dont think i have any rare ones. Thank you for helping me!
I have a 1979 penny it has a bubble D below the date and it looks like mint mark is a G. The o in of America it is super small. Lettering pops out really nice.
You and B are a great team. Her great office skills and your great teaching abilities. Don't have a clue what they will sell for. As they say, who wants it and how deep is their pocket.
Fantastic videos. I am going to have to join because of giving me some great information.
I have several 79 penny's in my collection I will have to check them. Thanks for the info.
I think around 400 on error coin. Crazy errors. Thanks J&B
Great to find out about the 1979 S , type 1 and 2. My guess for the off center penny is $200 and the guess for the nickle on the penny planchet is 700.. thanks J and especially Mrs. B for all the work required to prepare the coin videos.
I have proof sets from this date. However, it’s so confusing to me as to why I should think about getting it graded! I’m amazed at the errors that make its way out of the mint, unnoticed. Penny error $575.00, nickel $2700.00
I have several of these
Newbie but I take a guess anyway. The off struck penny 460.00.
The nickle on penny planchet 1200.00.
Have a wonderful day! 🌷🌷
Yes i got that Red one ...
I do have 5 1979 pennies, 3 are RB and 2are Brown
I still think the pennies are the coolest to collect, because so many people discard them. They’re the first denomination of coin I check when I get change back.
I have many penny 1975 until 1995 from Philippines
I have a 79 Denver mint reddish brown and pretty good condition, might be worth sending it off for grading. Thanks for the Vid!
Good afternoon J&B. I will guess $1,000,00 or maybe even more. I have a jug of pennies that I need to go through, and hopefully I will come across some 1979 pennies, and maybe they worth a lot of money if I am lucky. thank you both for the great info once again.
I have that coin 100% match you are asking about
I think the off set penny will sell for $2,589.00 and the 5 cent struck on penny will sell for $5,892.00!! I've been watching and studying the sell prices, I got this. Or at least close! ;)
Love the channel and all the info on error coins. Some of the coins you've talked about I would of just passed up until now
I JUST SAW 1979 D WHAT IS THE VALUE?
Thank you for the nice videos I have a few of these 1979 d and I have 1979 with No mint marks I wonder if they are worth grading and if they are I wonder where I could sell them?
Thank you sir
Clay B.

I have several 79 pennies and I just found a few 1950s in my register vent and an old house needs cleaned up what's the best idea for cleaning
Hello JB great video I started saving my 79 pennies. I got a 1936 s in my pocket change over the weekend it is a wheat this one I'm going to send too pcgs. Thank You for the video
GL J&B
I have no idea what those coins would sell for but I would guess that that nickel struck on a penny would be worth a heck of a lot more, maybe in the thousands! The “off center” struck Penny perhaps $500 or something like that! I know it sure would be cool to find one of those!
I think the 79 D penny will sell for 1500.00 and the jefferson for about 300 to 500. This was a very cool and interesting video today . Im going through my penny jars today!!
I found a 1979 filled D error the other day, still have to send it for grading but it looks to be great condition not the d over d error but still very cool find, btw I'm new to coin collecting so that to me is an extra sweet find. Great video very informative, I for one truly appreciate the videos you make.
Brandon fields
I have a wreath penny from the year 1955 double digits and Liberty is double marred
It’s in Premium condition almost proof.
Can you please give me advice on what it could be worth. Thank you for your help
Very cool that Pennies are selling for that much. I would guess about $3k for each. Thanks J & B.
I really think the nickel over penny is cool. I’m thinking it might sell for 500 dollars. We will just need to wait and see
I have a 79 penny with the E and ST barely visible
I have it....
Awesome video and info J&B the year i was born! I think the off struck will sale for $1979.00 and the nickel for $3400.00.
The nickel on the penny planchet guess $650.00 I wonder what it did sell for.
wow I don't know what they would sell for maybe around 1500 - I think I have that nickel either that or it looks rusty...I have to go and find it now. Thanks for the info.
The penny stuck off center... Prob 300 bux... To me it seems those off center errors fetch much less than i would imagine... And the nickle penny prob 5000 or more those are big money errors from what i see... But who knows! Its all what somebody is willing to pay... I could be WAY off😂 great video pull all high grade 1979 and always look for d over d variety!
# on my 27 pcs of antique collection, Lincoln 1 Cent,1979 No mint Mark is my oldest coin, 10 of them Shield BN, 2011,2013,D, 2014,, on my collections,
I have one like that here in the philippines but not so in good condition but im pretty sure that my coin is the same like in the video you share.
The nickel struck on a penny will sell for more than the offset penny. Nickel will go for around $1500.00 and offset penny around $600.00. Just my opinion anyway!! Thanks for the challenge, J&B!!
You can see the copper under the nickel/zink finish from some circulation
I have a double printed D 1979
That nickel on penny planchet I believe will go for over 300.00. Great coin.
Very interesting. I am guessing that off set will sell $750.00 and the planct error close to $1800.00. I wish I had something like that to sell. Thanks j and b for your love stream and videos.
I'd guess the 79 D will go for $750 and the nickle/penny will go for $1,599. Those are just wild guesses. Thanks for the video!
Very cool video...I have no idea...just learning...cause I'm new becomer... Have success JB...!
I have about 15 1979 beautiful excellent condition if anybody want to come in on them
I got to tell you the truth I got one just like it exactly like it in perfect condition beautiful red
Very informative! Thanks!
I'm from Philippines but I love collecting US currency........I always ask my relative to bring me a penny or any US any coins bcoz I love to collect US coins ..🤗🤗🤗
Guess is what it would be , as no way to say what some might think about rare ?? but wild guess would be on penny approx 400 the nickle could be as high as 500 but fig it would go for 200 !
I keep an eye out for the nice pennys as is. Looked thru my 1979s and none that nice but one might be worth grading. Maybe a MS58. I will have to keep an extra eye out for a nice 79. Ill have to see if any of the ones I have have any errors. Dont have any S Mint marks. Still looking for those. Another cool video JnB.
that is such a cool error! i would think at least $5,000..but maybe more.
Great info not sure when this aired thanks for the great info
What a amazing video on this 1979 penny’s Great info JB on the penny’s also I think the 1979 55% off-struck will Sell for $300 and on the 1979 D struck on cent planchet $600 if it was me I would buy both of them👍👍👍👍👍👍
I have one cent 1979 sir.. With mint mark "D" if your interested just email me.. Tnx
I think the 1979 55% off struck will go for around$ 7,050. The nickel struck on a penny planchet for around $4,870. These are totally guess well have to see what they go for in August.
I think the off struck penny will sell around 2k-3k the nickel/penny around 5 thousand. But I hope mine sell for more. Thank you Mr J & Mrs B for this valuable info.
P.S. will send video after it gets graded.
I have a 1979 rainbow toned
I have a 1979 penny without mint mark and it has a nickel looking or zink finish and it's in amazing condition is it worth anything I can't seem to find any that looks like it
I never knew that this date is rare in high grades. I have change bottles and rolls from the late 70s and early 80s. Thank you for the great info... I'm excited to go look! I think the off struck will sell for 435. The nickel pressed on the cent... that's tough 875.00?
I have 6 fairly good brown some turning red 1979s and D pennys how can i get my coins graded i also have a 1934 copper weet penny in verry good condiccion it looks brown and gold
I have one most likely that
I got a 179 penny on the obverse its chocolate colored on the reverse its bright reddish orange color
Just found one this morning
Jarrod Rod Joyce from PELICAN La, 👍🙏👀
I'm new to this and I have heritage huge coins from my grandfather. Have no idea how to evaluate them and sell them, Is there any fair person to evaluate my coins and stamps? Perhaps be able to put them on professional auctions. I have many unique ones
I couldn't even guess what price they will go for, but the Jefferson will probably sell for 3 times the off struck penny.
I have two 1979 pennies but one of them is very bright and shiny does that meen it's worth money?
Thanks for the info will keep an eye out for these. I think the off struck will only sell for 250 and the jefferson go for maybe 300
I've a 1979 double die no mint. I can't find any info about its worth. Any idea? Thanks
Very cool JB
Thanks for the comment on the 1979 penny again it's one of my collection. Question i found a 2011 d brown dime should i keep it ?
You tell us about all these coins and what what there worth but was these coins found in circulation or did they come from a collection that someone was saving I find a lot good looking coins but I dought if they would grade this good!
Yes, I have several 1979 pennies , some in good condition without the mint mark and several with the 1979D on them.
How can I find out if they are worth money or not, Also where can I get the cases at to preserve my coins?
Thank you
Idk if or to exchange or were to sell or check if these r worth any
I have 79 I want to check
Okay, I'm guessing $337 on the offset error coin. Mostly I think it should be worthless, lol, but I know how much some people like oddities. The one with the penny planchet and nickel face is probably closer to $675. This is a fun game, and I'm probably way off. But that's my guess.
I have a ms66 1979 ddo.
I have one 1979 D how do I know if it’s valuable or collectible
I found a 1979 D Penny in good condition..could it be worth something as much..
great video
I guess they’ll sell for at least several hundred. I’m thinking I do actually own a few of these!
I have 6, 1975 and 4, 1976 pennys
my guess is 2500$ great video thank u
I think the off struck ‘79 would sell for around $500-$1000, but the coin with the planchet error should be MUCH more! I guesstimate the second coin will sell between $3,500-$7,000. Let’s us know, J&B... I’m excited to find out. 🙂
I have 1979 penny coin
How would you go about selling a 1979 d penny?
My guess is that the copper nickel will auction for about $1000. The 55% off-struck, would be less than $500, but they’re only guesses, right?
I have a liberty cent 1979-D
I have a 1979 penny and the D is real dark but it looks like there is no 1 in 1979 . I also have a2014 shield penny that ha no raised outer edge around it
Wow! It's hard to say what the value of the nickel on the penny planchet would be considering the fluctuation of the market. You would think a proof would bring more value but seeing the business strikes bringing more, It's all up in the air. But, since the nickel would be considered rare, it should bring a good chunk of change. I would have to guess around $20,000.00. 🤞
I'm guessing, maybe the offset penny is worth 800.00, the wrong planchet seems like a bigger error, so maybe 1200.00 on it. Interesting video. Thanks
I have 1979
I'm too new to guess accurately, but I'll say $700 for the offset penny and $1500 for the wrong planchet. Curious to see how far off I am ;-) Thanks for giving me another coin to be excited to find. ;-)
I have 1979 no mint mark.. its still red.. almost brand new
Today I found a 69 us and as 70s penny both in decent condition but the 69 is dark brown in color I'm sure I have some 79s that I have to look through also found in 1983 doesn't look right looks like it has doubling
