To be honest, recently, I've been diving into a lot of videos on regaining control of one's digital life, and this one truly stood out as one of the best! I was genuinely surprised when I checked your viewers/subscriber count, as I was expecting a top-tier UA-camr. It's incredible to see the level of professionalism you've already achieved. Kudos!
I’ve been doing the opposite lately. Overloading apps but time to declutter again. I’ve been trying Drafts, Obsidian, and Notion but going back to just using Notes. Turned off social notifications except actual messages to me. And no social notifications on my Watch. While I’m off this week I’m going to try to reduce excessive phone time.
i love how you title the video DM. But the video is everything but DM. You use your phone for everything. Get a notebook and take a note for christ sake. your phone should be for texts and calls and thats it. that is what Digital Minimalism is truly
I know what you are saying, but I guess I’m looking at it from a different angle. Minimalism is the digital age and space. Not reduction of digital. Totally can understand the reaction though and thanks for watching!
We still have a smartphone in our pocket and can use Apps and features which helps us to create momentum and structure in our everyday life. If we would aim for maximal minimalism the best way to buy a sell phone which can do sms and calls.
@@nicoleuchter3178 well I was expecting a way to reduce my dependency on my phone. Today, my phone is my bank, my brokerage account, my post office, my home automation hub, my photo camera, video recorder, my wallet, my car keys, my health coach, my shopping mall, my ID, etc… that’s a lot of centralized power on a si for non-redundant device.

You try to minimize the digital pollution using even more the digital devices?’
I suppose this vid was more about simplifying life rather than a life without digital completely.

I guess I see it a little differently, but thanks for checking the video out!

It's about your overall relationship with tech, not the number of apps you have on your device ;)
