Do you know if i can use it to record directly to a daw instead of a cassette?

is there anyway to record from the aux in? I have the mt4x which is the same, I've been trying to figure it out.

Can you only record 4 at once on the first 4 channels or can you plug into any 4 of the 8 channels?
