One of the reagents for the bfa engineering mount also requires some onyxia skinning level shenanigans to get,the item requires 250 eng to drop,and you cap at 150

When guild mates of mine back in Vanilla helped me with my Anathema/Benediction quest I was soooooooo excited. This has brought me back to a very amazing time in my life. I have been playing Old School Runescape recently. But when Vanilla servers come back out this summer I am going to be alllll over it. I’ll see you in Sentinel Hill!!!

Man this series is so good and nostalgic. I play wow for 3 years now since i couldn't afford it being too young, but played warcraft 3 since 2010, loved it and got in love with the Warcraft universe, and seeing all your videos make me kinda jealous that I couldn't play it back in the days. Keep up the good work, MadSeason, you're awesome!

First of all I love watching your videos, your content is amazing and I love the calm way you narrate everything. But the thing i love most is your choice of background music. Several level themes from the DKC series, several tracks from FF soundtracks and even remixes of those. If watching WoW Vanilla content doesnt trigger nostalgia, the music you combine with the content surely does.
Favourite youtube-channel by lots of miles, without a mount, through a highlevel pvp-zone.

Love these videos of oddball/old school treasures you have collected. I could swear it feels like you are going through my bank and void storage. Makes me feel less of an out cast. :) I do have a question - Have you noticed Blizzard randomly removing anything from your bank, guild bank or bags? I just noticed that all my old school bijous I earned farming up rep with the Zandalar are gone. Basically getting a "/shrug that happens" from the support department.

I guess I haven't noticed anything like that, but then again I have tons of junk on multiple characters so it would be hard for me to spot. I know some times that they change some items' quality to gray, which might have made you vendor them accidentally. Could that be it? Thanks for watching for so long dude!

So nostalgic - love it. Shame so many of these items/quests are out of the game. In thinking about it, it was way more fun/enjoyable
to have to earn things and not in a silly, do this daily over and over type of way.

I miss Wow! I'm planning to return for Shadowlands, and Classiv TBC! I'm excited for TBC especially! I also have a lot of "cool" things locked away in my banks. God only knows how many cool BOE things were sitting in my mailbox, and are now gone forever, since I quit playing! I did buy an Onyxia Scale Cloak that I never needed for its intended use. But it's cool for transmog!

One of my favourite items I still have to this day is my Arcanite Ripper that a got from the pre wotlk event and not from black market =D
Those were the days man. I used to stack Carrot on a Stick with Sky Captains Whip (another mount speed boost trinket reward from beating the final guy Mulverick at Netherwing) and stack those with Mithril Spurs.
this is crazy i have that link picture, you might have covered it but off the top of my head i have that item that makes a ghost follow you around randomly as well.. i need to log over and check my banks now
Eranikus trinket was super useful to unstealth rogues in PvP 😊 used it a long time
7:30 my best guess is that they were trying to offer an offhand weapon that still offered a bit of defense if you chose it over a shield. I'm not sure tanking was what they made it specifically for.
At least that's what I assume, since there wasn't a 100% focalized gearing system back then like there is now.
I got a copy of "Manual of Eviscerate IX" i think that considered rare/unobtainable

I would highly recommend getting a UBRS key if you're going to play a rogue in Classic. The Dal'rend set, shadowcraft tunic and the quest trinket are vital for your starter set. If I didn't do it, I probably would have not got Grand Marshal.
Rogues don’t need the key they can lock pick it.

i did the benediction questline on a 10k pop server. Took me about 3 weeks to complete it because of griefing and all that shit xD but damn... it felt so good when i finally completed the quest. One of the best gaming memories the past 10 years...

I remember my ex-wife doing that priest quest for the staff, and I always thought they should have more weapons/items like that which you quest hard for and it serves multi-purpose. WoW was so much more fun and interesting in Classic, cannot wait for the classic servers to actually release.
I thought one of my guildies back in classic said the Eye of Shadow let them see a few special NPCs, but maybe they were just messing with the rest of us in guild/raid chat. And I'm not talking about the trinket that let you see everybody in Caer Darrow.
My hunter actually still has the Mature Blue Dragon Sinew, because I got it before the item and quests were removed, but never finished the questline. It sits in my bank as somewhat of a trophy I guess lol

About the trinket i dont know about alliance but the quest is apart of horde onyxia attune so most people will have to do it if they want to raid.
If you kept your essence of eranikus, when cataclysm came about, you could have TWO! Both gave haste, but the old version gave 1 more.
I got two of the nature tabards back when it first came out and one arcane. Insane prices on them now, uptowards 900$
Is there a way you can see if you had any of these items? I remember having some of these items but not knowing there value I sold them while cleaning out bank items.

I can’t believe you bought those Hatesparks. I won three of them. Kept one for myself, gave one away, and kept one to sell later - which will be a 100% profit seeing I didn’t pay gold for it. I probably could have won a few more, but I got tired of running the raid.

If you got the glove enchant and spurs along with the carrot, you could increase your speed from 160 to 176 and 200 to 218. 9% is quite the boost if it is addictive, I cannot remember, but they do stack huge speed boost that was removed so casual players could have a level playing field. Sad.

I had the sinew on my prot warrior, not sure anymore if I got it because I ninja'd it or if there was no hunters to loot it. the bwl cloak was a must and out of bwl was also strong on its own right. I wouldn't imagine people wanting to play classic again tbh, i forgot about those quirks lol
