Drop some DIY or budget filmmaking tips that the people need to know!! 👇👇👇
Every. Single. One. Of. These. Is. Incredible.
And here I am going, "There's GOTTA be some alternatives to these cool things that don't suck."
Happy I stumbled onto this video. Getting an Apache case and camera insert for my backpack as we speak!
Hey, when we can save some money, we've gotta save it haha
I use Chinese lantern for my lighting. Gives me soft light
Those are the best!
Thanks Ryan. Quick shout out to the A Clamps that made a few cameos in your video. I am assuming they are from a big box store.
Thanks for watching! And yes, spring clamps from Amazon haha
This is gold 👌 BTW what is that green rod attached to the grip head? Thanks!
EDIT: Nevermind, I found it on your older video "Gardener's fence post" 👌
Apache cases for the win. Dropped mine full of gear in Lake Erie on a job and thank goodness they float like Pelican LOL
Lately I've been thinking of starting to buy large filters and step-up rings so I can use it across all my lenses.
Same here. I wish I would've started with buying the larger filters...
Luckily my newest lens has a 39mm thread so my current filters will fit with step-up rings haha!
Great video Ryan! I'm someone who absolutely loves finding budget friendly gear alternatives that still get the job done, plus don't get me started on how much time I've spent trying the absolute dumbest DIY filmmaking gear projects that actually end up working somehow. It's almost like this video was made specifically for me 😂
Thanks George! There will always come a time when you need a piece of gear for a certain project, see that it costs way more than you expected, so instead you go to your kitchen haha
Joann Fabrics is also a big money saver. You can get 3ft x 6ft pieces of fabric, faux leather, etc. for under $25 to make large bounces/negative fill with. We love Joann
Joann for the win
informative video.
Thanks!
5:06 what bag is that?
It’s an Eddie Bauer backpack, but it’s so old that I can’t even find anything similar online haha
