nicely done sir
Woah, thanks a ton Simon!
The fact that cutting light is as important as adding light tells so much about cinematography as a whole… great explanation 🎉
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your videos are by far the nicest looking videos in youtube alongside gawx. And your skin is so smooth👌lol, don't stop making them
Really fascinating stuff! Love how you explained the different techniques. Amazing work on this breakdown 👏
I used that song at the end in a wedding edit before 😅 That's the one thing I hate about artlist, no real variety. Anyways, it's great pointing out that a shallow depth of field doesn't necessarily create depth! I'll totally use your example as a reference when pointing it out to my friends again 🤣
Yeahhh I hear the same songs on so many different projects 😂
Love the lighting in this. Bravo!
Thanks for stopping by!
making footage stand out is a challenge informative video.
very good
top notch sir, keep it up guru
Thank you!
Love the pace of your video very much~
Great video. That's crazy
Nice tips. Please make a tutorial low and high key lighting setup for product videos.
Thank you! That’s a great video idea
Great video with great explanation. SUBBED!
Thank you Sam!
excellent tips Ryan!
This is so helpful
If it were easy, it wouldn’t stand out….
Which is to say, you’ve got the ideal title to pull folks in and tell them the tough truth: depth in a scene requires intent and craft. A wide open lens can end up with only two levels of depth: bokeh and an eyeball…
Incidentally this is why I like shooting in s35. F 1.4 does all the same work of light gathering and showing the character of light in the room and pushing the glass to its limits where it adds depth…..
But the smaller sensor has a bit more Z-room for the talent to move around in or find their own marks rather than measuring everything off.
I've been checking back at your channel weekly. Is there an upload schedule? Really looking forward to your next video!
I'm currently working on a fews videos that I plan to release soon. Work and life have busy for me this past month, and I decided that I needed to put my focus into that. Thank you for sticking around-can't wait to share some new stuff!!
@@ryanmickey Makes total sense! I’ll be keeping an eye out for the next one whenever that is! Your videos have been amazing so far!
Love the video but Emmanuel Lubezki had way better work than Amsterdam lol😂
Haha I definitely agree with you on this
