Honda CB125E Valve Timing (Camshaft Timing)

Most of the major tasks you might perform on your commuter scooter such as cam changes, cylinder head swaps, big bore kits or just good old fashioned reconditioning will require that the cam shaft is removed. The camshaft plays a critical role in the engines operation by opening and closing the valves at the correct time.
If the valves do not open and close at the right time the engine may not run and there is a very firm possibility that the engine may even be damaged. If a valve comes into contact with the piston things will bend and break. No question.
