► While at ISPO 2018 Munich i had the opportunity to meet Andrew, a former ice hockey player for over 20 years who works for Super feet insoles, and found a bit of time to explain me about the insole technology and how important it is for inline ,ice and roller skating to use the right insoles.

Been using yellow for years. Love them. Just got the Carbon and I'm possibly 11% faster. They don't even pay me to say this... I pay them.

How are they for shock absorption? I just got the r100s with 90A wheels so jumps are now pretty hard on my ankles. I'm thinking of upgrading from my stock USD insoles to help as I've heard people complain how bad there are. How much of a difference do insoles make to shock absorption and do you have any other tips?

    • @MushroomBlading
      @MushroomBlading 6 років тому +2

These are about as stiff and thin as you can get for insoles so they're not great for shock absorbing.

It's funny I literally just talked to someone at a social skate I went to the other night about this exact product. I was trying to remember the brand!

I been skating with these for about a month now, I didn't magically become a great skater but it did help my ankle posture and overall comfort, I wear a size 4 junior skate (Im usually Women's US 6.5) and i was going to order the B size. But when i went into the store and tried them on I realized I actually need a D size because of where my arch is. Very glad i checked.

My problem with my current skates is that it absolutely wrecks my heels. I have plenty of toe room, but the heels on both skates just are painful after about 3-6 min of skating ( aggressive). I get the need for an insole, that said I don’t really care about gaining speed or anything like that. I care about gaining comfort, adding support, and giving me more control. I am considering grabbing an insole, but all roads seem to keep leading me back to Superfeet. I just don’t know 2 things about them.
    1. How is the insole for shock absorption ( ya know, for ramps and airs, etc. )
    2. Is it able to be trimmed to fit if needed ( like if I have a 12.5 skate and they only sell size 12 or 13, can I buy a 13 and cut them down to size 12.5. )

Wondering if the plastic/carbon insole base would damage the Intuition liner if i put them in there...

I got the rollerblade twister edge and basically they're designed for people with arches and I have flat feet.
    Would this insole help me?

Every foot is diverent. Bought some insoles from Sidas last week for my skates. They can make you personalist insoles in 10 minutes. Realy recommend those.

would putting these insoles on top of soft aggressive skate shock absorbers negate most of the benefits mentioned in the video?

Will the carbons correct the heel lift (lack of heel lift) in Sebas or do I need another heel lift pad?

Would these fit in derby speed skates? I have riedells and the insole they come with is laughable.

Are these only for hockey skates? I just bought a pair of FR1's and was told they have a raised heel. I wasn't aware of that before ordering. I'm wondering if this is the appropriate style of insole for their shape? Nobody ever says if they actually use these for regular inline skates.

Hi Ricardo, thanks for your content! I am currently using Powerslide Puls 110 x 4 speed skate and wanted to get insole for stability (falling inside/outside) and comfort. Will you recommend super feet insole or should I go with Powerslide Techsole/Recall innersole? Thanks!

@@blackyraypatrick9041 I think the reason my feet were falling inside/outside was the width of the shoe. I tried heat molding but it didn't help much.

1:29 it’s designed to move. You intuitively say “designed” because thinking otherwise or that it happened by accident from the Big Bang explosion and then miraculously evolved to this is just ridiculous. I know it has nothing to with the video but still🙂
