AirTran out of Atlanta was ready for takeoff when we backed out of the gate!!! Once we moved forward, we didn’t stop until we our destination gate!!! Happy Days Flying back then😁
Whenever I fly the FA’s always announce they’ve been cleared for departure when in reality it seems impossible because like you said there are other aircraft ahead in line, so must be something they all do just because
I've noticed that ALL Southwest flight attendants make that announcement as soon as they hear the "ding-dong" tone whenever they're on the taxi way like that. I think it's actually just the captain's subtle way of telling the cabin crew that they need to be seated.
@@CJWJR Yes it is a WN procedure. About 1 minute before departure, number 2 in line for departure, or approximately 1,000 feet of taxi distance remaining, the captain will hit the ATTEND button which makes the 'DING-DONG' sound. I don't know why the FA's have to announce, "Cleared for departure" because of that.
No, the fan blades move slightly faster than that because the buzzsaw sound comes from the tips of the fan blades breaking the sound barrier. Around 5200-5500Rpm
Fantastic engine sound and HDR quality.
That sound never gets old😌
that buzz is glorious, extra clear for this takeoff!
Love the sound of those engines
Wow I’m scared 24 fan blade cfm56-7b engine buzzsaw sound make me cry 😭 best of cfm56-7b engine sound 😍🤩
ah so thats the engine that it has. the a320-214 also has cfm engine cfm56-5b4 with a similar sound but a bit lower pitch
Really that’s my favorite sound in aviation
I have flown that flight many times and it always means vacation is over, back to work.
I used to work. Here in the 80s. For Aircraft service. As a baggage handler. And a wing person
Great video. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome video! Southwest wastes no time at all getting to the runway ✈️
I believe that’s their airline policy. 30 knots taxing and 15 on turns. They even fly 250 until established on localizer 🤣
@@yoshanetubetv5791 all in the name of efficiency 😂

Desert Gold livery can be seen at 9:34 as well
it’s gonna be gone soon
Note:
the new SWA 737 max 8 has a retro livery
Excellent video. May I ask what type of camera you used? Use to work at FLL for over 35 years. Brought back memories
737 rally move its wings..(wingflex)
How could they be cleared for departure when there were two planes in front of them and they weren't even on the takeoff runway yet?

-700 all the way to phoenix? Did you stop anywhere
North runway is different
Same thing at 9:08
But like why is so different but not the same.
Loud jets
the dislike is prob a 737 hater
What's to hate about this best (well, one of the best) inventions. What's to dislike about this whirr from the engines?
