it's challenging cuz the need to practice this you make it look simple but every one has different learning core but it helps understand the basics thanks once again
I appreciate the work you done cuz it does take practice and patients to do this I also am learning to play the trombone love music it runs in the family and considering learning more from you cuz you show the correct way bringing up the bass tumbao part which is the bass part and I am learning bass trombone so it helps me with that thanks Piano Freak for you hard work and dedication
teacher! Your way of teaching is excellent! I dont know English! however music is universal! Look, I do not have money!! I just started a few months ago and believe me I'm amazed! your way of teaching is great! thank you!!! earrings...
I live in Africa, in Angola. I'm loving the Latin music classes, but I would like you to explain how to play it if there is already a bass player playing
yes I watched the video, so let me see if I understand if we are playing with a bass player should we do the same thing from the right hand to the left hand? I have doubts when you teach something like ( ua-cam.com/video/BfjelOxRiP4/v-deo.html ) and I don't know how to play with a bassist playing... I think you should make a video showing several salsa sequences and latin music but playing like there's a bass player.... and thank you so much for answering my messages, I loved your channel and I liked you and I'm recommending your videos to my friends@@PianoFreak1
I really like this one. It shows how to include so many tricks and ideas to make it sound interesting. Even down to that last chromatic lick from the B major chord leading back up to the Em. Makes me wonder if it's even possible to add anything more for interest. But I never cease to be surprised...hahaha
Fun to try to play! Have the Montuno and Tumbao started. Need to improve and combine. Question: For the Tumbao, why do you count "1 and 4". I'm only familiarwith counting in sequence such as "1, 2, 3, 4" or "1 and 2 and 3 and 4"
Thanks Alejandro 🙏The truth is that I am originally a percussionist. I learned my knowledge in my travels around the world, and my great love is salsa. I usually play alone and not with a band, that's why I play like this and not like the conventional way.
Your montuno is wrong; On the second bar ("3" side of the clave) all the notes should be on the "and" of each beat and not on the 3rd and 4th beat. More north american than cuban. Especially when you pretend to teach.
@@PianoFreak1 I enjoy your teaching style, but is this critique correct? I feel like there is a note in the wrong place but I'm going by ear and feel. Who knows for sure?

In this progression the Tumbao role played on the "and" of the 2, 4
This is the classic way to play tumbao. That's what make it sound so interesting
Thank you for sharing your talent

Montuno has several meanings pertaining to Cuban music 🎶
Hey I have designed a piano music stand that might benefit you - I hope you can check it out. And by the way, awesome work there! You nailed it!

Hi Jean-pierre.. thanks for your comment 🙏. If you think that I'm pretend to teach, you don't have to watch my video
@@PianoFreak1 My english is Bad. Maybe sounds more aggressive that it really is. If so, i apologize.
Replace pretend by want to teach cuban piano.
