Ive had the CNT Racing cat-less dp and cat-back for years on my 2016...one thing i upgraded that helps a lot, COBB exhaust bushings...that OEM rubber breaks/flexes a lot. That AWE sounds great...mine is more subtle and throaty.. but I like that one too!
@@ABrianLewisVlog yeah a worthy $50 investment! I actually am considering the AWE track set up since if I end up going big turbo, I’ll need a good sounding 3” exhaust. CNT Racing sounds great, and while the dp is 3” the cat-back is only 2.5” (prob why it sounds better, like the Borla).
Also, those stoppers, do you think you should leave a little gap to give it some play so it's no so stiff against the joints on the rest of the system?
It still moves pretty freely. But I don’t wanna give it too much room to move cause guys have had issues with rear bumper melting from swaying as well as rattling noises.
@@ABrianLewisVlog Ok that's good. You know what I mean though. Don't need like a solid mounted exhaust. I cannot believe how much you can head the turbo spinning through that exhaust just idling. That's sweet
I’ve used my chromes for 12 years everyday professionally and have yet to crack or break one of my ATD sockets. I even broke down and bought 4 sets of Cornwell impact sockets deep and shallow 1/4 and 3/8. I started using those recently but I have never broke a chrome socket on my impacts. ATD you can get them off Amazon for $60
EXHAUST SOUNDS KILLER!!!!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely have to upgrade mine someday.

Rockin the black tips like me🔥
Yes sir! Black tips for life!
Are you using Cobb AP launch control at the end revs? They sound snapier than my exhaust setup.
Yes I am lol 😆 I love that sound that’s about 5200
@@ABrianLewisVlog Jum 5200 interesting. Thanks for the reply. :)
No problem I launch at 2200 ish but when I’m just playing with sound clips I turn it up lol
