Thank you Vanessa! I’ve looked at some ideas for coffee cozy/sleeves. Why in the world I didn’t search your channel first I don’t know! You are always so clear: concise and to the point practical with good old common sense! Bless you and thanks for this wonderful tutorial. 👏
I am going to make a ton of these. I'm going to get dollar store mugs and packets of coco to go with. This will make a great gift! Thanks a bunch for the idea!
I love this cozy. I work way too many hours and have so little time to craft and this project is perfect! I can gift a nice homemade gift for low cost and little time. Thank you!!!
I love your crafts and just made two of the cozies for bowls. Now I am going to make a few of these as well! Love your videos, and glad you do not have funky music playing. Love your sewing machine. I sew, but it is fun to do easy crafts and love your ideas.
I'm so going to make a few of these with KAM Snaps and dig into my quilting cotton collection! Thank you for the details on sizing, I think I'll do two to three snap settings so they'll work on any size mug. Fleece tends to have at least a slight stretch so it will keep them secure! Easy to toss in the wash if anything gets splashed on them too! So cool, woo!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been searching for a simple sewing project my daughter could make her siblings for Christmas and this is perfect as they all have their own individual hot cocoa mugs. I so appreciate you sharing your talents with us!
What a cute idea and would go great with the 'mug rug' I'm making for little gift ideas, and including a mug......thanks Vanessa, you do a wonderful job explaining and demonstrating a project. :)
For those that cant see your cutting, I think for me it would have been better for you to outline the cut in ink so it will show up or a darker material so is easier to see.
I love the pattern for these, so simple! I have a bunch of recycled and felted wool from coats that I think I will try this with. I'm thinking I may not need to use two pieces as some of the wool is pretty thick already. OH...I may try it with the felted sweaters I have too! Thanks for a great idea Vanessa!
Love how simple this is to put together.....so I'm looking at the white fleece here (around 3:40) and I saw it.... you can add some little bitty eyes... yellow felt at the narrow curve part.... and VOILA! A goose! (I had to stop myself from saying "AAAAFFFLLLAAACCKKKK" ) add some little goose feet to stick out on the sides.... (laughs to self)
Past Christmas... wish I had seen this earlier.. anyway... got lots of fleece left from PJ pants... Going to make Star Wars , Ninja Turtles , Hello Kitty, and Ohio State Buckeye mug wraps... quick easy and thanks for the tutorial
Thank you for sharing this way to make a cozy. I will try some on regular mugs. I am trying to make some for mugs/cups that are rounded, most designs will not work well for them. Also, the glaze on them is very smooth so material slides around. Do you have any suggestions?
I made 2 of these turned out great! If you have instagram you can see them, my user name is audnlila. They loved them and my whole family thought it was so neat!

Hi! Can you make some more clothing DIYs like diy fashion...I really miss those vids...love you!!!
I would like this to cover mason jars
you are so awesome :)
Using the fleece in the first place as to having to have to put a layer of fusible felt in the middle!
Ideas for plat kozies?
If you sew buttons on with dental floss you never have to worry about the thread breaking
What video editor do u use
I had fun with this one. I don't know how to post a picture.
It wasn’t long enough. Needs to add 2-3 inches to length.
