We have an older version of the same style Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. Ours is still like new. We were considering getting a Nama juicer but you pointed out a lot of thing we like about our old juicer so we will just be happy with the one we have. ( You could probably buy 3 or 4 LaLanne juicers for the price of the Nama). BTW GREAT VIDEO

Jack machine has weak point . The white round plastic on top of the motor nearly unremovable. This parts is very easy to break and nobody sells the parts to replace broken one. Once the round plastic is broken . It is time to throw away the whole juicer . It breaks when you apply pressure on the fruit while turning on the juicer . Good luck .

Youre using the machine incorrectly. You need to let the blade spin up to full speed and then add the fruit and do not apply much pressure

Should NOT be using a Plastic Bag. Mulch, Compost, Sink Disposal... Something more environmentally friendly.
