E469119 strip in in 32 inch LED tv, it consists of 7 LED in each strip and total 3 strip, all of them are in series. i explained how to test this it using digital multimeter specially when we dont have LED backlight tester. so without led tester we can use multimeter, 3.6 volt battery or 9 volt battery or using a regulated power supply. and we can replace strip or we can repair individual led

Thank you for sharing this video. 👍. I would recommend to replace the entire strips instead of single LEDs. Otherwise you will do this repair again and again on remaining old LEDs.
What do you mean entire strips??
The whole old backlights ?
@@jn9550 I mean the complete white lines. There are new ones available for most TVs and it make sense to replace it complete, because of the effort to open the TV display.
@@hugoegon8148 the enti6tv Backlight ( whole Backlights) ?
@@hugoegon8148yes make sense I broke the led panel while opening my entire exercise went waste had to throw 4 years old Philips tv
@@Jam-sh8oj Oh je, thats a pity. But it happens very easily, especially if the LCD panel is only lying in the case frame and very fragile. Cheap manufacrured, but nearly impossible to repair. 🤨

Thank you for the video. I have a LG 60 inch screen that went very dim but not dark. Before I make a mess of things is this a partially open LED issue? Are all of the strips is series with each other or are there multiple circuits? It seems on your TV the strips failed one at a time or did the four LEDs all fail at the same time, possibly from a power surge?
Brilliant idea - Thank you
You’re welcome 😊
Thanks very informative

is it possible to replace only 1 broken led instead of the entire strip? if so, what is the led reference? any led with 3v will do? or does it depend on tv brand and model?
I am always waiting for uploading your videos .thanks. but please upload some videos about tv mainboard and tcon board and also backlight driver section of tv smps in details and please put them in priority to upload. Again thank you.

What were you using to remove the leds? It looked like a basic soldering iron but what was that noise, was that actually a desoldering iron? It didn't look like it.
I'm wondering if I should buy a backlight tester or if I should just buy a benchtop power supply?
Very informative video. Very interesting but we can't do it.it is so difficult for us.we can damage

Haseeb, What current do these draw on the 3v power supply?
Even if leds light with an applied voltage, could there still be a rouge led that requires extra current and the tv power supply cannot deliver this current?
Do these TV's have a max current that they will not deliver above?
Nice
Hi haseeb, why wont the universal 12v backlights not work in my tvs? But when i test the lights with backlight tester they all go on.
Gjb
Is there a link for the LED's, I am not sure what they are (note: not the LED strips which cost $70.00). I have the VIZIO E50x-E1 TV.
Walekum assalam. Thanks
it is my pleasure
Sir thank you so much for your all vedios
I have backlight problem with my 65"skyworth led TV when I release stand by backlight just flashes and turned off
no sound or any display
please check STBY / PWR ON Circuit. it is not going to Power ON interlock
please send the board model number
and PSU model numbers
My friend i would like to ask what is the name of connector from led to main board the white one with 2 pin
👍👍👍
Sir,i have a LED TV backlight with two led strips faulty,i remove it, but didn't soldier the bad legs of the two bad ones together,i fix it but didn't bring backlight of others... should i soldier the two bad ones just like you did in the video for testing, and will it not look like fuse reading when i do that.
will the tv work normaly with shortened led soldier points instead changing like you did for testing?
shorted led points will cause to blur or dark display in that specific area of the display panel
Did you make that hot air gun?
Thanks for teaching, great job.
So i followed all instructions and replaced bad LED's. Once i turned it on all lights ligted up and then TV went to stand by again, checked LED went bad again.
Changed 2-nd time and same LED's went bad again.( Insignia TV).
Can you tell me what went wrong and how to test it? Thanks.
.can you please check video number 566 and 565
might be replaced LED is not with current matching
or may be the LED driver is uncontrolled, (feeding over voltage to the LED strips)
Voltage is same, i have LED tester.
"feeding over voltage to the LED strips" ??
How to check it and what to check it? I have multimeter.
Thanks.
After replacing the LED one can paint the darkened strip area with white paint to reflect the light again.

Thank you for video. I would like to know specifically on tv backlights, if you bridge one of the LEDs, does the current or voltage increase in the remaining LEDs?
best regards
we have to to select the same value voltage LED, otherwise the voltage unbalancing will damage the remaining LEDs
@@HaseebElectronics Thank you Sir. So the voltage will increase, I saw posts on other sites saying that the current will increase so i was unsure. Thank you for clearing that up
@@geraldnaicker32 a simple dirty method is to bridge the voltage with diode that will drop the voltage by a similar amount. It's not a professional job but have done it on several TVs and all are still functioning several years later.
On the flip side, it's pretty difficult to open the TV up to get to the LEDs (complete disassembly) so if it's an expensive TV it may make more sense to replace all of the entire strips so you know that you have all brand new LEDs. Nothing worse than replacing a blown LED only to find its neighbour has died a few weeks later and you have to start all over again.
What heatgun is this?
👍💯👏نورني
سلام و علیکم It would be best if you brother، show the picture after remount the TV set to show how is qualificatio of the picture, I.m shure, it will works ?!, the idea is very good , but how it will be
Do you need LCD TV backlight belt?
I have a question. I’m looking for individual led lights any help would be appreciated.
