    E469119 strip in in 32 inch LED tv, it consists of 7 LED in each strip and total 3 strip, all of them are in series. i explained how to test this it using digital multimeter specially when we dont have LED backlight tester. so without led tester we can use multimeter, 3.6 volt battery or 9 volt battery or using a regulated power supply. and we can replace strip or we can repair individual led

    Thank you for sharing this video. 👍. I would recommend to replace the entire strips instead of single LEDs. Otherwise you will do this repair again and again on remaining old LEDs.

    Thank you for the video. I have a LG 60 inch screen that went very dim but not dark. Before I make a mess of things is this a partially open LED issue? Are all of the strips is series with each other or are there multiple circuits? It seems on your TV the strips failed one at a time or did the four LEDs all fail at the same time, possibly from a power surge?

    What were you using to remove the leds? It looked like a basic soldering iron but what was that noise, was that actually a desoldering iron? It didn't look like it.
    I'm wondering if I should buy a backlight tester or if I should just buy a benchtop power supply?

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  3 роки тому +2

      we have to to select the same value voltage LED, otherwise the voltage unbalancing will damage the remaining LEDs

      @geraldnaicker32 3 роки тому

      @@HaseebElectronics Thank you Sir. So the voltage will increase, I saw posts on other sites saying that the current will increase so i was unsure. Thank you for clearing that up

    • @mixerfistit5522
      @mixerfistit5522 3 роки тому +1

      @@geraldnaicker32 a simple dirty method is to bridge the voltage with diode that will drop the voltage by a similar amount. It's not a professional job but have done it on several TVs and all are still functioning several years later.
      On the flip side, it's pretty difficult to open the TV up to get to the LEDs (complete disassembly) so if it's an expensive TV it may make more sense to replace all of the entire strips so you know that you have all brand new LEDs. Nothing worse than replacing a blown LED only to find its neighbour has died a few weeks later and you have to start all over again.
