    I see nothing to complain about here considering the features, tones and price, brilliant! An outstanding little device that will allow me to kick it on the couch and jam while not bothering the wife sitting next to me while she watches TV. I just need the 3 basic tones. I'll be hunting one down for sure Thanks for the informative info and video.

    Late to the party, but since I'm sure this video still get plenty of views I wanted to point out that the reason Leon could not get the "Jam Track" or other "play-along" streams into the NUX headphones is that the streaming is basically using the NUX as any Bluetooth device - meaning that you:
    1. Connect to the NUX as you would a Bluetooth speaker for the streaming (which means anything you play on the tablet/phone will be heard in the NUX headphones) and then you
    2. make another connection from inside the NUX App to connect the controls. Took me a while to figure it out.
    I love this thing. I often connect it to a small Bluetooth speaker (with a cable to the AUX in) instead of using headphones to get the tiniest, cutest little monster amp that screams at whispering volume :)

    Saw this demo. Bought this thing. Wow! Sounds killer and so easy to use the app to tweak or play along with backing tracks in Spotify. It honestly isn't a huge drop-off from my full board through Iridium. It's so nice, I'd immediately buy another if it was lost or broke. The key to any gear is whether it inspires me to play. This does

      @lukasb.7369 3 роки тому

      Am i right i can change my different setups... like i can change it from 54% to 34% or like each %? Or does the app does this for me in fix types? Cuz i liked the fender thing, too but you only get these premodes and cant switch it as you might like

    • @joellebrodeur1015
      @joellebrodeur1015 3 роки тому +3

      @@lukasb.7369 Forget the Micro. You're relegated to 5 EQ presets on amps, no cab IRs (NUX has this) and you have little choice in setting the effects on the Mustang. For me, the Mustang sounded terrible. The NUX is highly responsive via the app and have the ability to tweak settings to get a usable tone. For $30 less, the NUX is a clear winner after using both devices. The Micro is sadly way overhyped.

    With phones as powerful as they are, you would think it would just pair to phone, and the headphones would connect to the phone, where internet access would provide a library of sounds. It’s all 1s and 0s these days. Forward thinking product, same great Leon.

      @@LeonTodd hi Leon,
      can it be plugged into external speakers to play out loud?
      Does it restrict the number of modulation effects you can have on together? Or does it limit which one's you can use based on your amp sim selection?
      Example, the fender mustang gtx greyed out certain effects options based on what amp sim you select. So even though they advertised so many options, if you selected a modern amp, it would be heavy on dsp resources and it would not allow certain delays, reverts , phaser or flanges to be used.

    From my experience using free acoustic guitar IRs in my DAW and a converted Tele, I'd say you'd get a decent enough acoustic tone using an undersaddle piezo pickup in your electric guitar. That would make this a ridiculously cheap option for a tiny DI flyrig. Acoustic & electric tones for playing solo or duo sets. All it needs is a bass amp model too!

The boss sounds great but at $399 plus tax, not 6 times as great. I get most of my drive from pedals and don't use a ton of drive to begin with so it doesn't matter to me if the heavy tones don't sound as great. When I got the boss, I didn't consider that I would be committed to only those headphones and also wouldn't be able to record from them if I came up with an idea during practice. Yup, I'm sold. Got a pair of gently used Waza headphones for sale with box and paperwork for $300 if anyone is interested lol.

    Can u connect your bluetooth headphones to It?

    I ended up buying one of this. They are quite nice, but they have one
    big problem which is kind of a deal breaker for people wanting to use
    this as a practice tool. The bluetooth connection to listen backing
    tracks has a massive latency. So if you want to use anything that needs
    visual sync, like a metronome or iRealB for example, the latency is
    large enough to throw you out of track. I find it extremely annoying and
    ended up sending the unit back. One could use something like a mixer or
    some similar wired solution, but that defeats the whole purpose of
    having one single piece to quickly plug in and practice. So close, yet
    so far.

      Well, what can we expect. Nearly all bluetooth peripherals will always have some great latency when it comes to real time music tracking.
      Even for competitive online gaming, people would tend to avoid bluetooth connection on their headphones, let alone using them to track your jam. 😁👏

    Hi! Thanks for the help.
    I'm having a problem here: I can her audio from my phone (iPhone 6s, IOS 14.2) by bluetooth, but can't connect to the app. I select Mighty Plug on the app, but the app can't find it. I've already update the firmware on my Mac and deleted and reinstalled the app for about 5 times this afternoon. Am I missing something?

    Nice 👌 👍 👍 👍 I have Nu-X Mighty lite Bluetooth... I was so surprised when I heard the tones.. It's a bargain considering other similar products.. They are really doing something good :) this is handy for going to mates place for a low noise jam and composing with them or going on a drive for few days.. :)

    Can you get cordless play and sound to a speaker with this NUX in combo with a bluetooth transmitter/receiver duo and a 1/4 female-1/4 female adapter? ...the bluetooth transmitter in the guitar, the bluetooth receiver connected to this NUX via female - female adapter, then an outgoing cord from the NUX to a speaker? Thanks!
