One of your best yet - FOR ME! Arvid listener and doing this work. Your delivery, mixed in with scientific research, your vulnerability with your personal real life stories and tears….. has a way of showing me what all this really looks like and to know, it’s never going to stop! But it’s more about recognizing and giving ourselves grace and understanding without judgement as being the goal. Thank you so much ! Love your delivery and cursing! That is relatable!!… that is how I express my passion too! ❤️

Sabrina you are just magnificent. When you talk I often find myself in disbelief at how alike we are and your childhood OMG I think we shared a dad and siblings 😂. On a serious note your vulnerability and authenticity crack open my heart so often and the tears just keep coming. Thank you for all that you are and for all that you bring to my life.

Been obsessed with the podcast recently ! thanks for being vulnerable :D i really felt that overthinking part and the anxiety that no one is coming here to save you but yourself. Keep doing what you do :) the podcasts always helps me try to slowly change my way of thinking instead of just spiralling for hours

This topic came out at the perfect time 👍🏽 I’ve listened to a lot of podcasts that aren’t as straight forward or are just one sided and don’t make you consider both sides of the story. Thanks Sabrina we need more people like you 😎

Yoo Sabrina,I now understand what they mean when they say one has to do an inner work. Its painful,it’s nasty but the best way to heal is to go through it.people who lost their parents at an earlier age like me (when I was 8)Have it rough when it comes to date because no one affirmed us.

Thank you for this episode I really needed it. The moment he doesn't get in touch as usual, my anxiety kicks in and think the worst. I was in a narcissistic relationship before and due to that trauma I start shivering in my sleep. I started to listen to you when I woke up and it relaxed me
if his communication is not ok for me and I would like more from him how do I communicate it without freaking him out?

What if I overthink which leads to me becoming overwhelmed and then taking these feelings and dumping it onto my partner which makes him feel overwhelmed and he start to feel that everything is about me and im being self centered because i disregard or don’t consider how he feels about the problems we had and i repeat those problems and make it all about me even though i don’t mean to but just don’t know how to communicate healthy….pleass help

Open Dialogue: Have a calm, honest conversation with your partner about how you're feeling. Let him know that you’re aware of the pattern and want to work together on improving communication.
Seek Understanding: Ask for his perspective on how he feels and listen actively. This can help you understand his emotions and needs better.
Develop Coping Strategies: Work on strategies to manage overthinking and overwhelming feelings. This might include mindfulness practices, journaling, or speaking with a therapist to gain tools for healthier communication.
Set Aside Time for Yourself: Find ways to deal with stress or anxiety on your own so it doesn’t all get directed at your partner. This could be through hobbies, exercise, or relaxation techniques.
Mutual Support: Encourage your partner to share his thoughts and feelings too, so that the relationship remains balanced and both of your needs are considered.
