    All this..and yet, Austin Tesla employees have been let go..some apparently with no prior notice. The plant has basically been running for two years and now they are implementing "cost cutting" measures.
    Basically, if the recent news is any sort of indication, I wouldn't count on some of the projects mentioned in this video ever seeing the light of day.

    Curious to know what it will actually be drilling through. The land Giga Texas is built upon is soft, sandy, silty river wash type soil. The area around it is littered with water filled gravel and sand pits. Now it may be that the sandy soil is not very deep and there is some firm soil or even rock there. However, that area is what we call "off the escarpment" in that it is below the rocky Balcones Escarpment geology. I could be wrong, but there may not be any rock there for Prufrock to drill through. If that is the case, why bother using it at all? Plus if it's only going to be 15 feet below the road, that seems like not enough to avoid undermining the road or destabilizing the roadbed.

    Going to have to agree with another poster on this video:
    If you're going to purport to be a news channel you shouldn't spread things that are demonstrably false. AKA the Reuters article. Also, I understand it's an attempt at humor by saying that the light show was attended by a Tesla bot, but not everyone is going to get that it was really a human in a Tesla bot suit. This is misinformation whether intentional or otherwise.
    It's all rather unfortunate because I tend to enjoy your delivery style. But knowing that I'm going to have to fact check your work or check the comments for viewer-submitted claims of misinformation I'll just go elsewhere.

    I warned Elon Musk that he should be focusing on (1) New design "Rotary Wankel Airmotor" systems using failsafe 20,000+ psi CFC air pressure tanks for 1000+ miles range per fill-up of the air pressure tank, for all surface-vehicle and VTOL-aircraft applications; and also (2) Henry Wm Wallace field propulsion technology patented in 1971 using bismuth or other half-integer nuclear spin materials at high speed in rotor/stator configuration to produce "antigravity" field propulsion effect without rockets. Right now Tesla is struggling to remain relevant but will not achieve continuing relevancy using the botched Lithium-ion battery technology and unnecessarily complex technology. The best inventions are the simplest inventions that can do the job -- Elon Musk knows this. These are the best and simplest technologies that can do the job of surface, VTOL aircraft, and interstellar spacecraft transportation systems.

Except for charging stops and toll roads. How will they solve these challenges without Human interaction?

    • @thomasboese3793
      @thomasboese3793 Місяць тому

      Easy. There is an HO-scale airport in Germany. All of the models move under their power with a battery on board. When the battery gets low, the vehicle goes to a charging port and is recharged. Toll roads already send bills to drivers who don't stop to pay. Stuff is moving faster and faster, daily.

    I thought of an idea that could bring Musks robotaxis to the next level. What if you were to connect them in a line where people could walk from one to another. Then what if each individual taxi was made larger so it could seat more people. We could replace the wheels with steel so they're more durable, then we could place those wheels on rails so they could slide. Finally, instead of it of needing a big bulky battery it could be powered by an overhead line.
