Which countersinking bit were you using? I'm having a heck of a time finding a decent one and I don't see it on the tools you use page. Thanks!
Just a suggestion: I’ve recently built a workshop myself and incorporated a covered outdoor work area, like a large porch. It’s one of the best ideas I had - use it load more than I thought I would, doing dusty jobs etc rain or shine, not constrained by the walls, even just being able to leave the doors wide open on warm days if it’s raining outside!!
Sounds a good idea
That’s a cracking idea!
Couldn’t agree more. My workshop would really benefit from an outside area to work under.
In the UA-cam sea of clickbait and shorts this is the content I always look forward to. Your videos are top tier.
Thank you very much
I promised myself I wouldn't watch this series until it was all finished. I now find myself watching each one as its published and frustrated I have to wait for the next one! Thanks Matt, keep up the good work.
Thanks James. We are about half way
Workshop coming together nicely now Matt. Looking forward to your dads tool restoration videos. Keep up the good work mate!
Thank you Steven
fabulous job, always thought the widows (and door) would be a particularly difficult job with self-build but you make it look so easy. many thanks for sharing Mr Badger
Yes it giving me the confidence to have a go myself. A man can't have enough sheds.
Haha very true
I've seen so many buildings go up in the US on youtube and the flap at the top of the window is left hanging on the outside to add an extra layer of protection from the rain - if the tape bond is weakened, there's a chance of the rain working it's way inside the building. If you've got good quality tape and the rest of the build goes to plan, you'll be fine....good video.
Good job i like your Channel !!! Nice !! I from France 🇫🇷
Great video thanks Matt 🍺🍺👍👍
Thank you Brian
Leisurely and calm approach as always,in fact almost soothing to watch, but I'm itching to see an extension and doorway added to the back of the new shed 🙂 Excellent work everytime, keep it up.
Thank you
What can I say great watching 👍
Thank you
Mancave coming along nicely! Liked the glue warmer, oh and your cordless nailer too.😆
Two expensive tools
Very nicely done. Your editing and preplanning of your shots made for some great storytelling. Thanks Matt
Thank you very much
You are making a great job of this Matt, even though i will probably never build my own shed, I am really enjoying the series.
Thank you very much Andrew
Highlight of my week Matt 🫶😘

Fantastic, Matt! Lots of natural light! 😃
It's looking great! Really fantastic work!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

“Glue warmer.” 😂 Great progress, Matt!
Hopefully I won't need to use it in my new workshop
Another great workshop build, although they seem to fly by. Really do enjoy every episode. Thanks
Thank you Malcolm
Workshop coming along nicely. Are you going to have another Woodburner in this one Matt?
Keep er lit!
Good work. Think shutters on the outside will help with security.and alarm system.
Thank you
It’s looking good - I absolutely love the barn paint too. We are enjoying this series, watched the previous shed build and loved it, but this is somehow more interesting.
Thank you very much
👍👍👍 Thank you
Fantastic progress Matt can't wait for the tool restoration videos.

Hi Matt, I find it very enjoyable to be able to follow uou along as you are building your next workshop. Thank you for the all the effort you put in making the videos. Also, my condolences for your loss. I hope you are coping! Guido

Hi Mat, that is some excellent progress on the new workshop, it is certainly coming along, now if only time travel was possible, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍
Thank you. Yes that would speed the process up a bit
Hi Matt, just wondering; are you not worried about standing water on the window sills?
Arg, now I have to wait for the next episode. Can't wait! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. Cladding next
I don't need it or have space for it, but after watching your workshop builds, I have the urge to build one! Loving this series of videos, just like your parents summerhouse.
Thank you Lyn
Matt, Such a nice neat job mate. You look a very happy lad ! Onya mate !!

Very nice to see you building your own workshop, very inspiring. I also cannot wait to see you start decorating the interior, especially the restoring of dad's ye olde tools!
Currently woodworking from my dad's garage, hoping to get my own space at some point. :D
Thank you. Hope you get your own space soon
Looking good Matt. Nice and light. Tony
Thank you Tony. I do like natural light to work by
Coming along great. I do miss the cool curved ceiling of the old shop.
Thank you
Matt, you need to practice your time travelling, you had a wardrobe change whilst in the wormhole. That’s just messed with my mind 😂
I'm no Dr who
Looking great Matt 👍👍👍
Thank you Len
Looks Great Matt !! well done
Thank you
It's coming together really nicely - with those windows it's going to be a really bright work space.
Going to add a wood burner this time ?
I was undecided but I don't think there will be room for one
No sill or drip edge at the bottom of the windows?
Could you put a link in the description for your glue warmer please.
It's coming on really well and looks really good.
It is good but hopefully i won't need it soon
Great progress :)
Thank you
