    HI CSL, TYVM for the Tutorial was very Informative/educational. :-) I have a question though because I'm just beginning in this jewlery making macrame & kumi(acutally cuz of You & seeing 1 of ur videos 1 day when i was browsing around on UA-cam, lol) anyhow, what size Stardust bead do you use on the ends of the strings you pull to close the bracelet? I'm not good w/ metric so I wasn't sure if 4mm is the size of the Stardust bead You used on 1of the bracelets in the video?? Sorry this is so long. lol

    Ive found that the wax cords are not going through the holes in the beads i have. Or any of the other 1mm cords. Its frustrating. Also how do you stop hemp/cotton cords from fraying and preventing threading.

      Hello again, I used S-Lon medium to make a macrame bracelet and closed it per your video with the sliding knotted clasp (thanks, again!), however, I used 2 threads for my core which made it 4 in the closing off process (whew!). So I have 4 dangles. Do you have a video that shows closing off a macrame bracelet with the 4 core cords? Do you knot the two dangles together? Thank you so much.

    • @CSLdesigns
      @CSLdesigns  9 років тому +1

      You could really do it how you prefer it, but I prefer to still do it the same way but then end up having four individual dangles. That is the maximum I do though as I feel like after that it gets a bit much. Here is an example of how it can look ua-cam.com/video/OqYL4wsrR7g/v-deo.html

    Is there a way to fix the bracelet if the knot or bead on the end comes off and slips out of the slip adjusting knots totally?

    • @jeanined9060
      @jeanined9060 7 років тому +1

      Hi Mario. I'm not the lovely CSL, But think I can help you. If I understand correctly, you're saying the end bead or knot on one of the strands you pull to tighten the bracelet came undone & then totally came out of the square knot slider. Is that correct? If so, I've had luck doing a similar repair by dipping the end of the loose thread (the one you want to put back thru the slider) in Fray-check or Elmers glue (any water soluble household glue should work). Run that end through your fingers to flatten it & straighten it into a needle shape. Let it dry thoroughly. Take a regular tapestry needle or quite thick sewing needle & insert it into the sliding knot set where you'll want your loose end to go back in. Remove the tapestry needle. You just made a path for your stiffened cord to go through. Slide your glue-end thread (cord) into that path, through your slider & pull it through. Finish that end with your knots & bead & it should be all good! Hope that helps & that I explained it well enough!
