This is probably the only video I’ve seen with proper and clear instructions. The other tutorials seem puzzling and always end up overwhelming me. Contrastingly, this video is very understandable and easy to follow and it has helped and taught me so much. Thank you!
Thank you so much, I am thrilled to hear this was easy for you to follow! 💜😁
Yes I agree!!! 💖 I've been putting off making my bracelets because I haven't found the right tutorial until now!
Exactly!
Same!
Then I'm glad I clicked on this one first 😅
At last someone who gives clear instructions and shows her working clearly. Thank you.
Thanks, Jenny!
Hands down the most CLEAR and EASIEST sliding knot tutorial on UA-cam! Thank you! ❤️
Thank you so much! I'm so glad this was helpful for you. Thanks so much for your comment and for watching 💜
SO helpful and easy to follow!! I've been trying for hours to create a knotted closure, and now in under 10 minutes, I've got a solid solution. Thank you!!
Great tutorial! The best one I've seen! Clear, specific, to the point, no irritating background music. Very good teacher!!! Thank you!
Thank you, Grace!!
Thank you so much! this is the first video I have found where I was finally able to finish a square knot bracelet, I gave up on all the rest videos that were "teaching" beginners. Best instructor ever! All the other people who teach go way too fast, do too much talking and don't know how to explain it well plus they only do it once and think everyone got it. I'm so thrilled with my bracelet!
Hi Laura! I am so happy to hear you found this video helpful! Thanks so much for your sweet comment 💜
Great tutorial, thank you. Being dyslexic I've always found it hard to follow tutorials. I quite often have to give up and try to find a more clear one but your was very easy to follow. Much appreciated
Awww. thanks so much for letting me know, Sky! That means a lot to me, and I am thrilled you were able to follow along. 💜💜💜
This video is going in my library. I mastered this type of closure years ago but I so rarely use it that I forget how to do it when I need it. Thanks so much for doing this one.
The same thing happens to me! Always helpful to have a refresher on these kinds of things, I think. Thanks for watching, Crys! :)
Thanks a million the way you made this video was fabulous with lot of patience and guidance in each n every step.
Unlike many where they show you something and then they show you the next clip.
Thanks a million again.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found this helpful! 💜
Thank you!!! This is the best tutorial I’ve seen. I actually wanted to try it months ago, but other tutorials were either not clear enough (vid quality) or their explanation was not clear/concise enough. I feel confident in doing this now. Again, thanks!!!
Awww, I am so glad this was helpful, Natasha! Thank you for watching, and for your comment! :)
I agree. I watched so many vids and this is the best! I finally could make the adjustable closure!
Wow!!! I’m literally sitting here trying to fix my anklet while watching this video at the same time and I just have to say WONDERFUL BREAKDOWN! My anklet is now fixed! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much! I am thrilled to hear it! 💜😁
I like your style, you are step by step (slow movement) to really understand the drawstring!!!
Love it ❤
Thanks so much for saying that, Kim! I'm glad it's easy for you to follow 💜
This is the best video I've ever seen. So explanatory, detailed and clear. I've finally learnt how to do a sliding knot
I am thrilled to hear that! 💜😁
The clearest instructions for the knot. I found it useful for finishing my hand made "Hard clothing" for books. I need it to be adjustable, because some books are thin and some are thick. Thank you for the video, I wish you all well
Thanks so much! I'm glad you found it helpful 😁 Hope you are having a great afternoon.
I've saved your video to my favorite tutorials, and *thank* *you* for letting us know what materials you are using! For newbies that saves tons of trial, error, cost, & frustration :)
Thank you so much!! 💜💜💜
Excellent tutorial, thank you! I just made two bracelets, they look a treat and so easy with the proper instruction. Thanks again!
Thank you dear... I watched so many tutorials before yours, and I was about to give up! This was just what I needed :)
I'm so glad this helps! Thanks, Becky! 💜😁
So simple because you gave an excellent presentation and your voice clear, and professional. Thank you
Thank you, Frances! 😁
Wow thanks for the easy to follow tutorial! I thought the knotting was so difficult from watching other videos. You made it SUPER easy!
I'm so glad to hear that, Mia! Good luck 💜
Best explained and focal video ever for this. Thanks!😊
I'm so glad it was helpful for you! Thanks so much!
Thank you! I'm making my grandmother a custom bracelet and I needed a closure that she can easily adjust. This is perfect
That's wonderful! 💜 I'm happy this helped.
Thanks so so much for this, my son came home with a simple cord bracelet that his teacher had given him, but the thing had come unraveled. There was the bracelet itself and a shorter piece of matching cord and he told me that the shorter cord was used to tighten it somehow. For the life of me I couldn't work out how until I found this video, this is so simple and ingenious! I've saved for the future. Much appreciated!
Awwww, so glad I could help. Erin! Thank you for sharing, and for watching! 💜💜💜
thank you for the voiceover and contrasting cords!
I have been wanting to learn how to do this. I believe I can follow these instructions.
I bet you can! 💜😁
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!!! I can’t tell you how many videos I watched trying to understand how to make this darn knot, and you explained it so very well!!!! Thank you very much!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Awww, I am so glad to hear this helps!!
subscribed and liked. best tutorial ever! every other tutorial named a bunch of knot methods to use without detailing how to do whatever they listed. this was fully in depth yet felt so fast to do and i thank you so much! this video helped me fix my bracelet my sister gave me a few years ago and i promised to take care of it for her and recently the string was falling apart so i had to buy a new one and didnt know how to recreate the sliding knot!! thank you so much
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thank you for watching and subscribing 💜
Thank you so so much. This is going to be my new ending to great bracelets from now on. It's so darn easy and fast. Thank you once again.
My pleasure :) I'm glad you found it useful!
I completely understood in seconds, the instructions are clear and simple.
Yay!! That's awesome! 💜😁
Wanted to say thank you so much this helped me repair a bracelet my dogs chewed through!
Fantastic! 💜😁 Thanks for watching!
Great multipurpose knot! After following your instructions to finish a bracelet for our daughter, I used the same technique for my sweatpants. Much better then before! 🤓
That's great to hear! 😁 I'm glad you found it helpful.
I was really intimidated but this was so easy to follow!!!! Thank you so much!
I'm so glad to hear that!!!
Thank you! Extremely easy video to learn from. I am new jewelry maker after inheriting all supplies.
Have fun! 😁
This is my favorite closure for a macrame bracelet! How funny though, I do it opposite of the way you do it - I lay the first cord over and then go under and around with the second cord. I guess it doesn’t matter, you get to the same place both ways!! At the end, I make a double knot and glue it with GS Hypo glue and then cut the ends. I use a thread burner to melt down the ends… 💜
That's so funny, Sharon! I guess it does get us to the same place. Thanks for sharing your finishing technique! :)
@@ORCHIDandOPAL 😁

Hey Gina! Guess what? I DID IT!! I made your adjustable sliding square knot closure and I am amazed at how easy it was.
