    The thing i love the most about your videos are all of the old buildings, and equiptment lying around. It fascinates me to see how long they have lasted. All of the old equiptment and tools are pretty cool. I love seeing the landscape and shape of the land. everything is spread apart. it seems like it would be hard to find each other out there.

    Hey Nick and L.A.! Spraying crops was always a struggle for me here in Dawson County, Montana. Yes, the booms take a tremendous beating. It was good that L.A. found and fixed a cracked and stress-fractured boom before it failed completely. It's easier to fix that way. Thanks for sharing your world with us Nick...take care!

      bobby Smith, I was thinking the same thing! As I’ve watched these vids ( I’m fairly new to this channel), I’m noticing that leg-arms does a fair amount of the work, and he’s absolutely the definition of an all around talented person at EVERYTHING! That man has some serious skill sets. I know Nick is a hard worker too, he’s always running the camera so it just looks like leg-arms is doing most of the heavy lifting!! It’s so good to see two brothers now only work together well, but it seems they really have fun together too.

    Back in the 70s and 80s "crop checking" was secret code for backroad summer driving around in a pickup with a buddy or two polishing off a 12 pack. There were tons of "hold my beer" moments.....

    "Hollywood," I think its more lack of cautious vigilance that leads to accidents like those, you get used to a routine, and you start to forget or become too tired to be alert and vigilant. Also you know you got a big front end loader when you can fit a four wheeler in the bucket, WoW

    Hey , big brute is a great machine and love the design. I been around big farm equipment most my life. I think I have efficient idea and design that could solve your grain buggy/cart problems and keep those 45’ heads running. Also it would keep all 3 of big buds free for summer work and planting.
    Machines needed are;
    1- 1 used fertilizer spreader heavy chassis unit like big brute
    2- 1 well used 800-1000 grain cart with warn tires and chassis, needs work. 14”-20” unload augur and preferable front mount augur.
    With Some work and engineering the “Big PHill” could be brought to life! She would hold 2-3 bumps from the combines, float and carry across the field great. Also big Phil would shine when loading trucks, with higher cab and big tires. Great view into trailer.
    Let me know what you think about big Phil

    That spot in the wheat @ 22:00 or so, we had one in a field I worked a few years ago, much like it. We called it the devil's ball patch. The rest of the field was nearly perfect, no rye... no 'mustard'... nothing. that spot took a crew of 8 about 6 hours to get through just going back and forth pulling... then sprayed and by two weeks time, it was right back. We ended up having to kill off that whole section of field.
