Are you for real though? Even in 1992, when the ties between Russia and Ukraine were closer, even in Eastern Ukraine/Russian speaking part 80 - 90% were voting for independence, only exception was Crimea where it was 50/50. Even if you count the ones who didn't vote as no it would be ~70% in favor of independence in those areas. And it's Putins troops on their territory, not the other way round, as soon as he pulls them out there war is over.
