    20 pull-ups with 50kg attached is insane.
    Easily one of the greatest lb for lb feats of strength on UA-cam.

    Smaev is an animal. Even for being on gear that dude's pulling strength is unbelievable. Watching him just rep out pullups to his waist at his bodyweight is wild.

    Interesting. I don't really care about any kind of muscly-type stuff, but I am very competitive. Will sub+bell for the update on this to see how his this storyline develops. Always great to se a GOAT in the making, and even if he doesn't make it you've got me interested. Please keep outsiders like me informed; it's very fun and almost a bit surreal-feeling seeing a completely different world of competition. All my respects to the competitors.

    Interestingly, a few days ago, when I was talking to my friend, we talked about the fact that Ludo is developing very quickly and can surpass Mathew.
    He also does other compund moves like the bench press 160kg x1. It's not just weighted pull up. This increases my respect for him a lot. He's a seriously all-rounded athlete.

    I had never heard of this dude before, that's really insane! One other guy I think worth mentioning if you don't know him already is Michal Urbanik. These days he has bulked up massively (90kg+) and trained legs a lot so I think his best calisthenics / streetlifting days are behind, but a few years ago he was near the top in my opinion. At 70kg bw he simultaneously had a 100kg pull-up, 140kg dip, 1 minute front lever, 32 muscle ups, and a better victorian cross than most gymnasts. For me his combination of weighted and skills is still unmatched.

    • @StrengthGene
      @StrengthGene  11 місяців тому

      It reminds me of an EMOM workout which is great for building work capacity to handle set-rep schemes like a 10x10 or 5x5 with 2 min rest. I think it's very useful for endurance training and for developing a solid foundation before tapering closer to a 1RM.

      Smaev obviously o roids and Mathew maybe but Ludo is clearly natty.
      1x 115kg with clean form and 20x50 clean form at 90kg Bw and natty.
      This cannot be compared with any athlete of the streetlifitng world.

Regarding of them being on PEDs or not the performance is just insane and demands a lot of effortt and discipline and this we can't deny it.
