      Good luck, Sir. Work your ass off. Conditioning is 80% of the battle. Always listen to your coaches, learn as much as you can, don't be afraid to LEARN. You'll never know it all. Work, work, work, work, work. I'll be looking out for you for years to come!!!

    T-City... I had the pleasure to do a super seminar With Brian and Rener and hands down, the most humble, interactive, and all around nice guys you'd ever want to meet... So happy for you Brian to be doing so well in MMA... and of course, having one of the best GJJ practitioners and Instructors out there, the world is yours!!

    t city looks like the real deal, starting out it was all bjj, now he can strike with the top in the division also, making a dangerous combo for whoever is next... making him possibly next to become a true mma star... here's 2 wishing him continued success

    • @clownbow1
      @clownbow1 7 років тому

      Aaron Albert you don't get off steroids it's pretty much per minute... many fighters get past the test for a long time you just got a wait for them to mess up their cycles again usually after they've been, once they're a lot more cautious and hire a better doctor to help them get past them

    I trained at the Gracie Academy in L.A. (Torrance) about ten years ago and was in the same classes as Brian Ortega. He was a scrawny teenager back then but he was getting a rep in class for his triangles. I think he just got his blue belt around then, can't remember. But he couldn't have been more than 130lbs then. Rener and Ryron (and sometimes Ralek) Gracie were our instructors. I saw that Rener corners Brian now. I just came across that Brian is doing MMA so this is quite the surprise. Good for him.

    Amazing story. The best part is that Ortega is passing along this gift to others. What the mind can "conceive and believe" it can achieve, but at the early stage of his career his mind could not conceive and believe, his two coach passed in his mind these two gifts and thus the result is his life being elevated. I saw this mindset in McGregor, but money took over McGregor's mind and he lost his way. Money is important, but don't let it rot your mind... Stay humble.

    Saw a fight with Brian where I believe he was losing the whole fight, but managed to pull a wicked submission toward the end of the 3rd round. Watching that fight and his interview afterward - really appreciated that. Not everybody's got the toughness to stay in there and figure out a way to pull it out. This story just amplifies that respect even higher - for Brian, but also Rener and Danny.
