Black Belt: Joao Assis

Let’s see 1 white belt vs 50 black belts
😂 😂
whoever taps the white belt faster gets $1000
That white belt won't be a white belt for very long
Yes !
@@addisonj616 That belt would turn red fast
Pulling your foot and popping your own knee is top tier white belt energy
You just said what I was thinking... Why the f... Did she grabbed her feet like that attempting to hold the triangle... It was the first thing that I learned "Never grab by the feet".
I know you can hold your shin while you move your hips but man even tho ive trained for a little while for some reason i didnt realise that could happen lmao@@spear8492
Of course it was a women too 😂
Relatable asf not gonna lie, happened to me more than once
@@TheTruthNotFeelings Cool, I guess?
i don't even know who he is...
The ballet dancer letting him know was a nice and funny moment 😂
Haha yeah. That was wild
She legit disabled a technique that a black belt was confident will work, that is nuts
Aight, time for me to take ballet classes
He could have popped her foot off .
Yeah, he was scared after that confession
You have no idea how helpless you are until you roll with a black belt
Yes!!! Exactly
Weak mentality. People put too much respect on the color of a belt. Just ignore it and get better. I was tapping black belts when I was a white belt (with 5 years of wrestling) because I didn't look at it and quit before the match even started.
@@HowlettYT Woah, we got a bad ass over here! You're just like an anime protagonist!
@@HowlettYTi feel sorry for you for being scammed into going to a mcdojo
@@HowlettYT where? what gym?
Lowkey not fair for the people that rolled with him in the beginning when he was at full energy 😂
The biggest people should've rolled with him first, IMO.
@@CarnivalNights i agree, if i was there and a white belt I would’ve rolled with him last😂
No doubt!
Yea the last guy lasting the longest makes total sense. Comp isn't fair that way. They should indeed have put the biggest guys first.
Yes !
This is super impressive. 50 rounds is nuts, but he did it. What a great way to continue challenging yourself as a black belt. Great video Qazi
I was one of the white belts in there. João went for nearly 4 straight hours. Only stopped between rounds occasionally to sip water or tie his belt. There were a lot of fit guys over 200 lbs. Even with the skill disparity, going that long against constantly fresh opponents, many who are semi-skilled...It was by far the greatest physical feat I've seen in person. Respect.
Against white belts… it’s like beating up 50 children or handicapped kids.
Not rounds, white belts. None of them are exactly physical beasts either
@@christopherharris5083 Do you train? Physical power in Jiu Jitsu is not always correlated to big muscles
@@christopherpakney8542 I was there too and left about the 4 hour mark, I couldn't believe he was still going. That is some stamina! Overall it was a great experience and I am grateful for the opportunity.
Joe Rogan: "The Average person has no idea how helpless they are when a black belt grabs ahold of you"
“I was a ballet dancer that won’t work” lol
Haha yeah. It was wild. She had insane flexibility
@@rafeh_qazi yea I’m betting he coulda snapped that off if he wanted to lol
She wouldve snapped her ankle in half if he wanted to@@rafeh_qazi
@@2130dar Yea but that's not the goal lol
That was so polite the way she told him that the foot lock wont work because of previous training as a ballet dancer lol
It would eventually work, just not that angle. I didn't do ballet, but I can handle 9/10 toe holds no problem or even discomfort.
But one coach got one on me off my knee shield and wayyyyy turned it and it actually hurt.
I’m 100% sure he was being nice! If he wanted to he could have broke her foot. She might be flexible but her foot isn’t un breakable
@@newyorksbeerreviews1280 Yeah but she will likely find a way to escape before he actually breaks her foot
50 rounds is crazy no matter if they are black or white.
"I was a ballet dancer, that won't work"
"Good to know"
Hahahahahaha made me chuckle
Love how this teaches that in fighting arts, compassion and good will to others is the goal.
What a DOPE Video. Love this format man, just makes me envision how the next ones will be 😍. The Storytelling and the Editing will ONLY get better from here 🔥🚀
Ive always wanted to become good at jiu jitsu but ive never had the time just seeing people getting better makes me happy about it bujt even as a newbie id love to participate in videos like this for sure love all the energy
make time. You won't regret it.
6 months later, have you started?
Going against 50 people of any skill level back to back is impressive. Wow, well done. I'd love to see him go against a few judo guys and see how the styles interact.
I bet on a bjj Black belt 🤑
Depends If the fights are focused more on the ground or standing
Now try 20 blue belt, or 10 purples, or 5 browns!
10 purples. Ouch
10 COMPETITIVE purple belts. That is scary.
How about 5 purples? Blue to purple is a big jump
And some browns are pretty much black belts without the black belt
Damn give the guy a break lol
Loving these ideas here!!!
Great video and cool challenge. Thanks for posting!
This was an excellent video and edited very nicely! Last dude getting his blue belt was awesome! Overall, submitting 50 white belts is insane! 🤙
Amazing content! You were able to fit 50 matches! In lil under 8mins! That’s WILD! good shit Qazi!
Really enjoyed watching this. Thank you
I would have loved to see a break down of all the submissions he did and what he got the most of white belts.
Ooh that's a great idea. I'll keep that in mind next time.
Those knee pops cracks are scary 😅
Great Video Keep Rollin 🤙🏽
God Bless 🙏🏼🫀
Awesome video very well put together I’m suprised you don’t have more than 100k subs keep going and you’ll get there for sure 🙏
Funny I've never seen your content until you did something with BJJ. Great video! The editing and pace was really nice!
Awesome video! Joao is an absolute savage and a super nice guy. Very impressive!!!
They should have sorted the white belts by size and experience. Having to go against a 260lb jacked WB and a guy just on the edge of being promoted to blue late in the piece is brutal.
That's a very nice video Qazi, it's good to see you experimenting with new ideas 💡 Qazi, that's a wonderful idea awesome job by the way...
This reminds me of the shark tanks we go through during belt promotions: a certain number of minutes based on promotion level (blue belts 20 minutes, purples 30 minutes, browns 45 minutes, black belts 1 hour) with a new opponent every minute. They are awesome experiences showing us how much we can endure and how our skills kick in automatically.
I thought they all gonna fight at once 😂 good video bro ❤
I didn't believe he would win but this is pure dedication! Underrated video hope it comes to everyone's homepage.
He should try with white belts from Dagestan 😂
Did I see a toe hold on a white belt 🤣🤣🔥
It’s okay, she was a ballet dancer, so it didn’t work 😂
Wasn’t just 1 time! Hahah ridiculous
Only illegal if the ref see's it.
😂 yes you did
Your timer was quite confusing brother. Well done to the black belt and all the competitors
So you’re saying he didn’t roll for 26 minutes at the end against Eli?
Oh he didn't? I thought they rolled for 26 minutes haha
How?
I refuse to believe a black belt was taking 10+ minutes to tap some of those white belts... surviving over a minute is super impressive... 11, no chance.... Even going super easy I dont see how these matches could last that long without gassing
If he really wanted to he could tap each of them under 5 seconds trust me… he paced him self and also made sure he dont hurt anyone
They were all fresh, some of those guys were huge, powerlifters etc and they all train under him. You start to learn some of their moves and its easier to stalemate training partners
Exactly, no way in hell he has stamina past 10 people.
Going against a fresh blue belt after 49 rounds would be super hard for any black
@@BoboBish nope he was a fresh white when they fought
This reminds me of the time Michael Langhi came to visit our gym. After doing a seminar he had everyone line up while he stood in the middle of the mat and took turns rolling with everybody with no breaks like this video. This was like in 2010s when he was world champion. It was a treat to learn and roll with him and of course he beat everyone. Very humble guy. I still like the spider guard because of him. 🤙🏼
Damn this is a great video and tough to go that many rounds
Great work promoting your channel. Extra bonus points that nobody got injured.
That woman's knee didn't sound so good.
I fought John Olav Einemo as a white-belt. Its fun going against the best ones early on.
Black belt sweated so much that the mat tested positive 😂
Amazing conent! But as a white belt myself, this is a time challenge against a tired Black belt. I'd just choose not to attack and just use my defence to survive and try beat a time. I aint going in there trying to get take downs and subs on a 3 stripe black belt lol but good effort and experience for the white belts! Great video!
People were doing that. Lasting 20+ minutes lol. Eventually he tapped everyone.
You have an interview with #36 Jenny and then attribute my round to #36 and I am not Jenny. I am the purple gi. I lasted over 10 minutes.
@@stubornbluerose strong effort! It's incredible how efficiently those higher belts work, great video
@rafeh_qazi was a great watch I must say, good effort by the white belts, some pushed a good pace
@@terence3820 It was about having a good roll, I mentioned the time to differentiate between me and Jenny for Rafeh. I didn't feel right having my roll credited to Jenny who had a good roll herself. I had a good roll and I appreciated the experience.
Thank you for the fun video
I'm gonna use the ballet dancer line at class today 😅
Going against 50 people in one day is absolutely wild
Yes. It took 7 hours. M
damn, the man had insane resistance@@rafeh_qazi
You keep saying he’s in trouble. He’s not in trouble.
He probably has more experience than all of them combined
How is that even fair that the first contestend has obviously less of a chance to win the 1000 than then 50th since the black belt will lose a lot of engery and stamina?
Thats the things, its not, how would YOU make it fair
Just no price for anyone :)
@@G3mbala59 then it wouldnt be motivating enough for alot of people and it wouldnt be as exiting for the majority of wiewers
@@whenyourealize5846 Maybe thats the sad truth, just like liberal society :)
Strong man🔥👏🏻
I thought that was a little unfair, because everyone is still very inexperienced, but you learn from it - and that's what makes it. Thankfully, there were no serious injuries, so respect to the Black Belt
Great video! How long did he roll for in the end? Must have been shattered if some of the matches were over 20 minute!!
The dude getting his blue belt at the end was so fucking cool. Amazing job to that dude 🙏🙏
This was pretty cool 🔥
Amazing video!
immediate toe hold on a white belt sets the tone
What I like most of good black belts is they don't want to prove anything but it seems they enjoy teaching through the roll instead of hurting
Bro the crunchy noises made me laugh so hard lol this was fun 👍
If you recall Rickson Gracie did a similar feat >
but his competitors were all high level > Black Belts .
The ballet dance move, what a legend!
like why would she tell him that, that was her one advantage
This is soo cool!!!! I'm a white belt myself and this is so motivating!
Such an underrated video
"He last longer so far" - It was the second fight.
So good. Awesome editing. Super entertaining.
thank you bro! This took forever 😂
10 purple
Belts would be fun to watch
This is good content 👏🏼
Thank you bro!! I wasn't sure if this vid was gonna pop
hello! Congratulations!! I am brazilian and Karate Kyokushin have this challanges long time for ago and not bet.
Awesome video
"im sorry im a dancer it wont work" he should cranked that shit LOL
Jenny was inaccurately attributed to the white belt in the purple gi (me, and I do not have law enforcement experience). Jenny had a great roll and would love to see her roll!
Haha sorry I know. I realized. Mess up with the footage :/
For white belts who wanna use rubber guard or rubber guard type frames to prevent passes. You must bring your knee as high as possible so the flex/ pressure is on your hip joint vs knee joints. Try it with no partner and look to get the stretch on your hip/ high femur area any pressure on your knee means your doing it wrong. you’ll put lateral pressure on your knee popping it which means damaging ligaments that hold your knee together…. My knee still slides outta place as brown belt after having a knee pop as a blue belt . Lose ligaments are common among females her injury might not be permanent.
" So what are you planning to do with 1000 $ " - My man ... 1k is not 1M ok?
Impressive that the black belts heart didn’t explode.
so basically be the last person to spar him and youll have the best chance..
😂
Alternative title: Black belt gambles all of his joints fighting 50 white belts
Sheeeshhhh I remember he was one of my professors at Checkmat La Habra about 8yrs ago😂😂 🤙🏽
Parabens João
I thought this vid was gonna be from a youtuber with 100k minimum. keep this up dude!
Made my day. Thank you ♥️.
Damn! $1000 and your blue belt... What a day!
I was crying at the end! Now go fix you car! Congratulations!
Dudeeee skipped all his stripes on the white belt and went straight to blue!!!! That’s so dope!!
That crunch sound 😂😂😂😂

i wonder if he felt like he was fighting a bunch of toddlers.
for the most part, yes. rolling with brand new white belts feels like that. even for competent blue belts. ^^
bro sandbagged the competition XD
Of course, I literally knew the last person would win obviously. Like that's when the black belt is the most tired so the white belt can last the longest
Lol the guy who said he would immediately buy fireworks in October
what's the music name 3 minutes in?
imagine 50 jiu jitsu white belts
but they are all wrestling champs
A no stripe white belt jumped all the way to a blue belt. Wow
Ya thats some bs lol
Not every place hands out stripes and even the ones that do don't always hand them out on time.
@@jonahtaylor2301I train at checkmat in Tokyo and we do hand out stripes. So not sure what you’re talking about.
Just goes out to show how undeserving some blue belts and other color belts are in some gyms around the world. My gym you earn 4 stripes each one costing you so much before you can even be considered a blue belt. THats why when they go out to compete, an undeserving blue belt like him would get absolutely man handled by a 4th or 3rd degree white belt
@@SethKBaldwin Exactly, it's all based on skills, some people are extremely advanced that have jumped belts or stay for a very little amount of time on they're colour, competitions and rolls with higher ranked belts or black belts prove how good you are.
Whats the music at 03:00?
Joao is going pretty easy on these white belts, while also maintaining incredible technique, positioning, and control. Still, even at what looks like maybe 50% for him, doing 50 rounds and wins back-to-back is a testament to his endurance, any-which-way.
thats why hes going easy to he actually lasts for the 50 rounds
You have to pace your self
Rickson used to do that back in the day, except that it was with black belts.
I'm so glad for Eli. He WAS NOT moving like a white belt.
What was Tuivasa doing in blue?
Next pls; 1 White belt vs 50 Black belts!
Dang! Jujitsu is my favorite!
Thats unfair because the last guy got the most tired version of the black belt.
"I was a ballet dancer so that wont work" yes, yes it will. XD He was just being nice
The way 25/50 played out was wow (@ 3:33)
Bro getting tired after 4 minutes of tapping whitebelts? Man i think my prof never getting tired.
Have him try it. These white belts were fucking jacked
Oh, you meant a fight😅
It’s like wrestling a chunk of granite is the realest thing I’ve ever heard. My buddy is the judo national champion of Canada. I wrestled him and it was like trying to move brick wall. Haha these guys deserve way more credit
Did you try with and without the gi?
With gi there zero chance. Without gi still impossible. This guy was d1 wrestler as well haha
