I feel like Debut TV has to drop on her birthday, and Rep TV has to come before. We call it Debut, but its actual name is Taylor Swift. How perfect and symbolic is it that immediately after her magnum opus tour she concludes the re-record era by reclaiming her name on her birthday? I feel like that’s the kind of poetic symbolism Taylor lives for.
Need to explain how bye weeks work. The players get off the week immediately after the last game before the bye. They play October 5th, so they get the rest of that week off, but return to work on the 13th or 14th to practice for the game the next week. So he won't be attending any concerts that week. Instead, his week off will match her last week off, so they can both take some time off together somewhere. I'd say there's pretty much zero chance of Travis attending any concerts on this tour. He's got a celebrity gold tournament this week that just started today, and some day next week he has to report to training camp. The tour ends in December and the NFL regular season doesn't end until January 5th. After that, there's the playoffs. If they go win it all again, the last day he has to work will be February 9th. And, of course, he'll want to show up for the Super Bowl parade that will probably be three days later. So I'd guess the first day he for sure will be done with work for the season would be about February 13th. Until then, it''ll be a lot more her traveling to see him than the other way around. And adding any new concerts would be pointless as he'll still be busy. Everyone looks at the schedule thinking those are the only days he's working. He's in practice during the week. If they win, they usually get Monday off. Otherwise, this job is pretty much every day until the season ends.
Ok. Here's how coach Reid normally handles preseason games. Usually the first game, the starters play one series, maybe two if they only run a few plays on the first series and have to punt. Game two is usually when the starters play the entire first half, and some years will come out and play one series of the second half. The third game, they rarely play at all, unless something looked really bad in the first two games and coach feels they need more practice. Usually that final game is to see which of the younger players are going to make the last few roster slots. During the preseason, team have 90 players. By the time it ends, they have to cut all but 53 of them. So the last games is seeing which players get the few spots that aren't already taken by the established players. Even most die hard fans don't attend the preseason games, so no reason Taylor should be expected at them unless she's just missing Travis and wants to show up. Someone else compared both schedules and determined there are only five of the seventeen regular season games she can't attend, so you'll probably see her at a lot of games again.

@@swiftieschoolpodcast No problem. I knew very little about Taylor Swift until she started dating Travis. My teen years were i the 80's, so if the music doesn't have power cords and/or a screaming guitar solo, I'm generally not interested. But I've been a Chiefs fan since I was old enough to care, around 1984 or so, so I do know the Chiefs. And as long as she's still with Travis, I tend to check up on posts like yours to learn the other half of this situation. And Chiefs Kingdom is always down to add new members, so I am very happy to educate on stuff like this when I can. I heard today that while the rookies have to report to training camp at the beginning of next week, the starters may not have to report until Saturday. So I'd say there is a VERY small chance he could make a show this week, but Coach Reid is notorious for having one of the hardest and most exhausting training camps in the NFL (part of why the team keeps coming back late in games to win, they're in better shape that their opponents who get tired out by the end of the game). I expect he'll want to rest up for a few days before going to camp rather than flying across that many time zones. "Jet lag is a choice," may be good enough for Taylor, but not for most mortals.
I second what Matthew says here. I also looked at the chances of Travis visiting Toronto when he is playing Buffalo but its an afternoon game so by the time he is done with that and his press engagements (he is afaik the team captain this year again) it will be to late to hop on a jet to visit.
There is one option that i see and that is November 1 or 2 in Indianapolis. The Chiefs have a Monday night game in Tampa that weekend so they might have an extra day off that week. But depending on ratings those game dates might be switched a bit as well.
Also you need to look at optics here. The Chiefs are trying for a unicum, a 3peat this year. If they manage that it will have a lasting impact on Travis post playing career, especially because he is such an important player on the team. Travis is the (or one of) team captain and does he want to show anything but absolute focus on that 3peat to his fellow players? Just imagine him visiting a concert and then bombing or getting injured the next game.
I think this is why we got Amsterdam night 3 and why it was so impactful on Travis.
@@mikedebruyn You missed one thing in your breakdown with the Buffalo game. She doesn't have a concert on Sunday, so there won't be a concert for him to run to after the game anyway. In fact, that's why all the NFL fans complaining that the NFL had scheduled the Chiefs to be in Buffalo the weekend Taylor was in Toronto just so she could attend the game was such a stupid statement. KC could be playing in any city in the country on Sunday, and she'd still have plenty of time to get there, get a full 8 hours of sleep and still have hours to get to the game. If I remember right, the very last show of the tour is the only Canadian shows that is on a Sunday, so she should be able to attend the Chiefs games every one of those weekends.
And you're right about the optics of him running to a concert in Indy. A lot of NFL fans, and more importantly sports reporters, would crucify him for running out of town for a concert right before a game. Travis and Taylor are very aware of how much some NFL fans are already against this relationship and have been very careful to try and keep things done in a way that Travis looks fully committed to football. How many interviews has he given this year when he includes a line about being fully focused on the season??? Even if he could make it one of those shows with no issue, I think he'd be reluctant to do so just because of how it would look. Won't say it's impossible, but VERY doubtful that he would do that. That's why some fans were surprised he went to Argentina during his week off last season.
@@matthewvade6553 I do not know if those anti Swift NFL fans still have a lot of leg to stand on this year. Last year there was a "she is doing it for fame vibe" etc but will there still be a lot of anger this year when she is clearly his girlfriend I don't know.
Oh i didn't even check Toronto on Sunday when i saw that he had an afternoon game.
I could understand him going to Argentina both from his relationship and as a player, he was back on time to start the trainings week.

As far as preseason is concerned, those games don’t necessarily count. I wouldn’t think Travis would play very long during preseason except for one game. He might walk onto the field and say hi for a couple games. Usually, teams use one preseason game as kind of a dress rehearsal where they play a bulk of the starters - unsure which week they would do that, likely preseason week 2.
I agree with the London thing. I was thinking that too. Trav said to pay attention to the London shows. He never said WHICH London shows to pay attention to.
I have been saying Taylor Nation V Live Nation/Ticket Master for awhile! I think all of these little drops here and there that so many people complain about, is helping Taylor rake in all of this money to take those corporations head first!

The reason the US Senate is getting involved with evil-Ticketmaster is they are a monopoly and has a stranglehold on the music industry in the US. For Taylor to put together a succesful tou in the US she almost always have to use ticketmaster. Let's hope this changes in the US as the costs are getting out of control -- then when they refund -- the fees are not always refunded!

Travis will play little if at all the first 2 pre-season. Basically the veterans play very little the first 2 -- and then play the 3rd to get some NFL-wind.... If I was Travis I would not push her to attend any of the pre-season if there is a bit of effort. Save the effort for the season!

Weird connection!!!! There was an interview I watched recently with Taylor swift saying they maybe when she’s 80 she’d write a memoir of what the songs were about and who they were about. She’s in her 30’s now. In the song she says “in 50 years will this all be declassified”
I am going to say something that some might see as controversial here The vault tracks are the songs that did not make it on the album because they were either to controversial or just not good enough to make it. I doubt there are controversial masterpieces for Debut so the vault will consist of tracks that did not make it. While they are interesting to us don't you think that Taylor wants those performed on stage to close it all off instead of leaving these songs as never performed live? It would mean all of us begging her to hear those (inferior) songs whenever she goes next on tour. With the "love" she is giving Debut currently i highly doubt she wants to do that. So i think that she wants those songs over and done with live before the Eras tour ends.
Now look at the charts of the previous TV's except 1989 they have topped the charts for 1 or 2 weeks.
So from a business point of view TTPD's nr 1 run will end this week. Eminem will drop his new album on July 12 and his previous 9 albums all reached nr 1 on Billboard. Seeing the (fabricated or not) beef in the rap world atm i see that album getting a lot of attention and reaching nr 1. So we need room for 1-2 weeks Debut and 1-4 weeks Reputation. With her still having only 1 bodysuit for Rep i think that the new set (list or clothing) will spice up the last leg of the tour for both public and the performers. So my prediction is that both albums will drop before that leg starts with an ultimate clown moment from Taylor.
On her last day in London she will come out all green for the Man, sing "I Did Something Bad" in the Rep set but does not say anything. At midnight there will be a countdown timer for a new Taylors version and Friday 23 Debut will drop. That will get it's 1 or 2 weeks of shine on the charts and then september 13 Rep TV will drop as a double album where side 2 will be orange themed and just like the Anthology for TTPD it will be called Karma.. That way the build up hype for the last leg will be there and she will have enough time to close out all the new vault tracks song before wrapping up the Eras tour.
Ok don’t forget they have also stated the Koi guitar left the museum, is in the hands of Taylor somewhere .. something is coming before London ends

The Grammys cutoff won’t matter for re-records because in order to submit an entire album it has to be at least 75% unreleased material so unless she has 45 vault tracks on each album I think we’re good 😂

I think she will want to play RepTV vault tracks on the last leg of tour. So yes 9/13 release. I still am clowning for a double album drop for RepTV. Then she could resubmit it for Grammy consideration. I think DebutTV will have its release on 12/13 but not as much of a focus. She will just reclaim her name. Mainly because it is country and she has moved away from it.
