"You'll Never Know" - Is it Mesa or ISP Technologies? Charvel DK24 HH Sunburst Paves the Way...

Hey all,
Went to play a Charvel 7 string in Guitar Center today and there just happened to be a lovely new Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 head hooked up to a Marshall 2x12 with Seventy/80 speakers (that I find to be pretty gnarly, not in a good way... I'm spoiled with my Alnico Creams...)
Kinda dug it. Came home, and threw a shitty compressor with a 'tone' knob and threw in some highs on the pre-distort signal, upped the mids just a hair along with the bass on the Theta Rack Preamp and "viola!" that famous Mesa 'boxiness' came right in... still not as 'loose' as a Mesa, but for my ears today it's close. I probably have too much gain on the Theta, but who cares? A fun experiment none the less...
Enjoy this little improv I did on a rainy evening... a lot of patterns I play a lot as kind of a check in on how my hands are doing on a given day... never the same way or order twice, just noodling some sequences to get a feel of where I'm at...
